Received 2 calls today from this number, Did not answer. See it is well known to 02 as a scam number! With people reporting as far back as last year, They had been getting calls trying to obtain credit card details etc. Can not believe it is still happening. Come on 02 do something about it!!!!
Rang claiming to be O2 and they received my number from their hotspots. They were claiming to be able to save me money. Told them I‚Äôm not with O2 and have a contact else where. They told me they wanted to be my new provider. I explained again I was tied into a contract anyway so no point taking the conversation further at which point they hung up

Called me today. The man with a heavy Irish accent said he was from o2 offered me a contract that I did not take as I smelled a rat from the word go. Thankfully it did not get to asking for banking details but, Please be aware from these scammers.
Do not answer this number! They rang me pretending to be 02, Very convincing. They nearly emptied my account. Wanted my card details to change my contract. It was only then I realised something wasn‚Äôt right. I hung up and rang 02 and asked them if they knew of the number and they said this number has been scamming other people! Warn others of this number. Never give card/account details over phone.
