Having read the first comment, I think this must be from Admiral as I too have recently taken out car insurance. They don't leave me a message so I assume whatever they want can't be important enough!

I also had a call from this number. I had contacted Admiral for a quote but did not take it forward. No reason for them to call - thanks to your website I'm glad I didn't answer

Scam. Ringing pretending to be an insurance company saying that I’ve been in an accident and am currently uninsured. Which is a load of 80ll0cks.

This is not Admiral, it is a scamming line. I spoke to Admiral yesterday and they knew nothing about it. Do not answer and do not give out any details!

Called me today. It's real as I called Admiral directly and they confirmed everything that was discussed today and the SMS came from Admiral also

Claiming to be from diamond insurance saying my registration given on an early nine form doesn't match policy registration. Did the renewal over phone and been with them for 2 years so surely my details would be correct on their database. The number I'm told to call back on doesn't match numbers on the diamond website. I believe it's a believable scam but I will be calling diamond in the morning to see what is going on as it doesn't make sense. Will update to say if it was legitimate or a scam.

Definitely genuine. Admiral GROUP. So you may have another company such as Gladiator insurance. Just ask and they can confirm I'm sure. You are always entitled to ask them for some of YOUR details to prove they are who they say they are.

Suspicious call claiming to be from admiral insurance

Had a call today claiming to be Admiral but don't think so as they would know I have changed to another of their sister companies. Person was trying to potentially up-sell further cover suggesting that in an accident there would be no replacement vehicle cover and that only applies when in for a service! I think if I had gone along with this they may have taken money and other details and presumably fraudulently. BEWARE!

30/3/21 - Weird call, Said from Admirals insurance, Said about combining my house and car insurance, But then said my car wasn't the type that it was, Then said the car they were talking about was registered to a different person at my address, So I said who, They said could disclose, So I said how are you going to combine the insurances then? They said they would take that other person's car off their list if it has been scrapped (I didn't say anything about that car only that type of car wasn'

Admiral just returning my telephone call - no scam

Caller said she was from Admiral, She said I had an insurance policy with them, Mentioned 1 car but not the two others on the policy. She then wanted my address which I gave, Then my date of birth. I pointed out she should have that information and I was not happy giving any of my details. I told her I was terminating the call. Considering she (Admiral?) initiated the call I don't see why it should be me proving my identity. She certainly didn't prove her identity.

So far not answered the call. They called me 13 times yesterday and so far 8 times today. I'm about to report them if this carries on.

I always check numbers on sites like this, I think they are a god send. Makes you wonder if the people who are saying this is Admiral insurance are just scammers, Especially when other people have checked with Admirals direct telephone number and they have confirmed this is a scam number. The last two weeks I must of had 12 or 13 different numbers trying to get hold of me. I never answer any caller, If someone wants to talk to me then why not leave a message.
