Credit charity claims department, regulated by some authority.... yeah... sounds legit... blocked

he said his name was Mike fromthe citizens advice about unsucure loans i had .hung up when questioned.

Had a call from this number, guy called Peter Hill with a heavy accent said I had some debts to clear.I asked for his managers name and he said Kevin Morris and he gave me a phone number in Manchester.Obviously all false. I said I would ring his manager.I then rang the mobile number which came back as do not recognise the number. Odd given I just received the call from from the same number.

This number as rang me twice today, picked phone up no one speaks then phone goes dead.

Started off by saying they were calling from citizens advice...must have spoke to 4 different non fluent English speaking people. Then got told they were a private company offering IVA's. Every time I put the phone down they called back. Number is now blocked Caller: Citizens Advice Bureau

I have had a call from this number this morning.approx 9.15 am 24th october .The accented voice told me she was from the citizens advice.....and that they had been notified that l was about to incur a big debt.....I did not wait to hear any more ....swore at her and put the phone down.

This caller said that their records showed I had a debt to pay off - they hung up when I said that was not correct ! How annoying are these calls and where do they get my name and number ? Very concerned.

I have had numerous calls from this number, Like many other unsolicited nuisance calls because it happens so often I just do not answer the phone. But needles to say they cause us undue stress and concern. More stringent controls need to be put in place on these so called companies/Individuals and very large fines issued against the offenders
