Within hours of reporting another scam Whatsapp verification number I got a new message from this one.

My daughter was sent a text saying follow link to verify whatsapp? I did as she uses another phone for whats app but has the same number? So couldnt download what it wanted as its an iphone and no details are on it? But this kind of stuff shouldnt be coming threw? Cause if i get the same txt i wont be downloading anything? As iam aware that once you have set whats app there shouldn't be a need to verify anything at all after the fact?

Scam!!! Trying to connect to what's app with new number and received this code.. I tried the code on what's app and it didn't work deleted what's app and don't click on the link sent
