Spam number used by dating scammers

Got a text message with a tinder code when I never used it. I find that quite dangerous and annoying.

Somebody contacted me on Mature Surrey Dating via a Hangouts message. The woman involved wouldn't give me her number but asked me for mine. So in good faith I sent mine and was then asked to enter a Plenty of Fish verification code which I did and then I got nothing back.Something didn't feel right then so I checked to see if +46769446575 was a scam number and shock horror it was. I've blocked the number and have also uninstalled Hangouts.

I received a text from this number with what it said was a tinder code. I never asked for this, Nor have I ever used Tinder and it came as a complete surprise

Legit number for Tinder verification. The simple explanation for the posts here is that someone has used their number to sign up to Tinder. Wouldn't make sense as a phishing attempt, Those claiming they are are clearly very confused. (no link - what exactly do you think they'd get from it?)
