I've been receiving calls from this number for a few days now (11/30 6:32PM, 12/3 11:07AM, 12/4 4:24PM). Never leave messages when I miss their calls.Made the mistake of answering their second call, and it was consistent with the reports here; aggressive telemarketer claiming to be from Hilton Grand Vacations trying to sell a $249 trip to Orlando, then it's to anywhere, then it's $99... classic sleazy sales tactics. And of course they called me after I gave them a hard no too- these guys definitely don't take no for an answer!Did a little research on my end, and I've come to the conclusion that this likely IS Hilton Grand Vacations making these calls. I've based this conclusion on the following:- They did have my name and phone number, and Hilton does too since I am a Hilton Honors member. There are perhaps other ways they can get that info, sure, but being Hilton representatives themselves IS the most likely scenario.- I called up Hilton customer care to complain since this isn't something I generally expect from Hilton, and the rep confirmed this is an actual deal they give.- Did a few minutes of research into Hilton Grand Vacations, they DO have a call center based in Orlando, they do hire outbound phone sales reps, and there are plenty of complaints on Glassdoor about being pressured to sell at any cost (regardless of whether or not it's a good fit for the customer).- This is a pretty common tactic to sell timeshares, and it has been for years. However, regardless of whether or not this is Hilton, you should not answer this call (let alone give these people a dime). A good general rule to live by is that no product being sold through such tactics is one worth buying. :)
