Someone called and said they were from OUC and our power at the office was going to be turned off in 30 minutes. My receptionist hung up before they were through talking. Total scam!

Called and said they had message from Orlando Utilities Commission. I hung up!

I received calls from this number this morning and reported them because it’s not the first time they’ve called saying they’re the light company and threatening to shut off lights if I don’t give them my credit card Info !! Don’t fall for it !! It’s a straight scam !!!

Second time I have received a call from this number 407-423-9018 ... No message was left.

Wow, my power will be disconnected. Funny that I live in WI and don't have ouc.

This number called 2x today I answered the 2nd time and automated call saying lights would be disconnected within 30 min if I didn’t call 800-460-2971

Clam they are calling from OUC and will discount your service in 30 minutes if you don't call them back. Thing is all non-pay disconnects are suspended due to COVID-19. Total scam. The number that shows up on your phone is OUC but this one has a + in front of it indicating it's from outside of the US.

When I answered and tried to tell them that my phone number isn't connected to any electric bill account, the man on the phone called me a stupid hoe, it isn't enough that they're scamming people, they're insulting them as well

407-423-9018 ID misspelled as 'ORLANDO UTILITI'. A hispanic man with a strong dominican-republic spanish accent called saying that he was from the electric power company, he said that his name was 'Oscar Cruz'. He called to tell me that the 'power electric company' was going to disconnect the electric power of my house within the next 37 minutes. This guy told me that I needed to call 407-605-2223 to make the payment to avoid the power being disconnected. I mentioned that I was going to pay through the power company's web site and he said that my account was already shut down due to lack of payment. I didn't mentioned to this low life scammer that I make automatic payments and that my power electric bill was payed as of last week. Nevertheless, phone number 407-423-9018 is the Orlando Utilities Commission phone number. I am calling OUC to let them now. Be careful out there, many many low-life-good-for-nothing are trying to steal from you your hard work earned money.

I received a call from 407-423-9018 (OUC's actual #) that says they are cutting my power off within 30 minutes for nonpayment and I must call Billing Headquarters at 1-800-337-2704 (NOT OUC's Billing Headquarters). I reported it to OUC & they said that it is a widespread scam all this week and they do NOT have any Headquarters... they are a Local Company. DO NOTHING - THIS IS A SCAM!!!

Have been getting calls from 'OUC 407-423-9018', got an automated voice telling me my electricity would be turned off in 30 minutes due to non-payment and to press 1 to make payment. I pressed 1 and got a hold concerto. I hung up because I figured it wasn't worth my time messing with the scammer. After all, I DO NOT live in Orlando and DO NOT use OUC!
