NTI is by no means a scam, as a disabled person they have allowed me to work at home. I have not been able to work in a traditional office because of my disability. NTI has been a blessing. I would recommend that if intrested a person should have some computer skills,and type at least 20 words per minute, NTI works with social security administration and state vocational rehabilitation agencies in assisting the disabled in their efforts to work. They also have some jobs for non disabled bi-lingual persons (english/spanish). State vocational rehabilitation agencies will also help with training, the purchase of office equipment, phones, and computers. I would recommend NTI.Ed R.

NTI is not a scam - I work for this company. They get grants to help match disabled people with jobs we can do from home. I take calls at home for a gov't agency -- the I*S. We take orders for forms or publications. Under the rules for disability income, one can earn some money each month without losing benefits.

You should not be so mean and degrading. I am one who has had 3 years of run around from NTI and have the emails to prove that I have been lied to and mislead. I applied, interviewed and completed 2 weeks of training based on the promise of employment with one of their companies that outsourced with them. Those companies being Mejer Pharmacueticals and the I.R.S. There were approximately 10 to 12 other candidates in my training class. We were promised (I emphatically stress - P.R O.M.I.S.E.D!) further training and employment with NTI for Mejer Pharamacueticals if we passed the midweek assessment. Myself along with many others passed the midweek assessment only to be told we were being dropped from being employed. After all the hard work, time, energy and even expense we put into training and class time. This was after we were explitlly promised further training and employment after we passed the midweek assessment. Some participants even went out and purchased equipment they were told to purchase by Mark Case who was the trainer for nti. These particpants were also disabled and all on limited incomes. They purchased equipment such as noise cancelling headphones and dedicated phone lines, only to be told they would not need this equipment after all. Everyone in my training group was up in arms after being promised employment then being told they would not be employed. After spearheading much written protest to NTI not fulfilling what was promised us by Mark Case of NTI, John Bertram entered the picture and to make a long story short, ended up promising those of us in the group. that we would be offered future open employment opportunities before such opportunities were posted on their website. Betram offered us this saying NTI felt it would only be fair to do so. This never came to be. Betram forgot all about is promise. After nearly a year we then received across the board newsletter advising us of current open employment opportunities that were now being broadcast on NTI's website. I sent a copy of the email Betram had sent us promising we would be offered chances of applying for the open employment opportunities before they were posted on NTI's web page and asked him how he could so blatantly disregard his promise. In return I received a thinly veiled threat that all my protests and previous emails and correspondence would be considered and reviewed when determining my elgibility for employment. I have complete record of all correspondence should anyone care to view it. I have my Associates Degree as a Paralegal, my Associates Degree as Legal Secretary and my Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration so I do have a pretty good idea what I am talking about. NTI is legit - they assist disabled people with jobs that they can work from their home, such as: customer service representatives for building supply 'big box' stores,' as bilingual agents to assist Latinos file their IRS forms and other related tax issues, making follow up calls and surveys for people that just bought a certain product, (big ticket item - flat screen tv, washer/dryer, appliances, etc.) To sum it up, these are some of the nicest people that I have ever met and they will bend over backwards for you to land you a GOOD paying job at home, working 4-6 hrs a day, making approximately $10 - $18 per hour. Some jobs are commission with salary. A great deal for people that cannot walk, or stand...basically disabled. I give this company a lot of credit for what they are doing. They get funds - meager funds at that - to work with people that are really hard to talk to sometimes - like you name bashing knuckleheads! Think before you post something on the internet - this isn't your school bathroom stall door! Grow up and think before posting something that you know absolutely zip about! Peace until next time...

The things I could tell you about NTI!!! and none of them good. I had my own private experience with this company and my ticket to work. They had me undergo two weeks of training and promised employment, only to end up wasting my time, energy and money. I have emails upon emails to verify the not so honorable actions of this supposed non profit organization. I have been dealing with this organization for nearly 3 years of giving them the benefit of the doubt only to come to the conclusion that they do not have the best interests of recepients in mind or actions. I am here to tell anyone that will listen of the bad experience myself and the others in my training group underwent at the hands of this organization.

Something is fishy...they told me I couldn't work for the IRS because I had filed for bankruptcy before, soooo I called the IRS and they said that was not true..I called them back and told them the good news and now they won't return my calls or when I call they say they are busy.
