I do not answer phone if I don't know the number. This number calls a lot but Never leaves a voicemail.

Caller claimed to offer a program or plan at no cost with assurances that it would end up on my billing and reduce the billing. My comment was 'I am not interested in any program or plan,' which I had to repeat twice to assure the caller that I was not interested.

They call numerous times a day and leaves no message....I know for a fact if it's Duke Energy they would leave a message like they did when I had to have my smart meter installed! So y'all punks need to quit... y'all are annoying!

Called and didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. Same number called back 40 seconds later. Blocked call and looked number up found out it was Duke Energy. Called the number and got a recording saying they missed me and would try again later to talk about some service they were offering. NOT INTERESTED!!!!!

Received two calls from this number. No response when I said hello.

This is the Duke Energy Power Saver Program. This is the outbound Customer Service Department. They call in the winter to offer summer rebate incentives. I called Duke Energy to verify and it is a legitimate program. The main number for the Power Saver program is 888-463-5022 if you want to participate.

Called 3 times, twice in a row and did not leave a message.

They just keep calling both my home phone and cell phone! The last two days this number of 704-691-0042 has called a total of 8 times and because my answering machine and voicemail picks up, they hang up! I refuse to answer any number that I do not answer, plus everyone that I know, knows to leave me a message and I will call them right back!

Called twice today and once yesterday. Doesn't leave a message. I called the number back and it says, 'Power Manager Program,' plays a little music, and then hangs up on you. This is extremely annoying. Do not call people who are on the DO-NOT-CALL list!

Have received call from this number on my cell phone. Comes up Duke Energy. So that should be Fraud. Only Duke phone numbers should come as Duke Energy. Didn't answer and no message.

It's a phishing call, saying they can offer some duke energy saving program to get me some credit towards electricity bill. Luckiliy i didnt give out my personal info.

Claimed to be Duke Energy and wanted to install a a device to save money on energy, but sounded highly suspicious and when I looked up the number, multiple people reported this number as a scam.

Says Duke Energy wants to come put a energy saver on ac/heat system so grid will not pull power. Called 3 times in one day after telling not to ever call again.

Calls, does NOT leave message, when I answer nobody says anything and I give PLENTY of time because I love telling people like this that I'm registered on the National Do Not Call list, since it's purpose is to keep this from happening. Alas, I couldn't get anyone to respond to me to tell them this and NOT to call the number again.

will call once a day for a few days in a row. been going on for a while. I do not answer and they do not leave a message. I see where other people have reported this as Scammer/Fraudster.

It's Duke Energy. I missed the call and they did not leave a message. I called the number back and after a recorded message a girl answered. I politely asked to be removed from the call list. Will see if this works.

Getting calls from this number 2-4 times a day, everyday !!!!

Lady said she was from Duke Energy. Had a summer energy save program for me to enroll if you have a central air unit. They come install a box on your house for free. She had all of my personal information already. I didn't have to do anything besides say 'Ya sure.' Said they would come out in 2 months to install the box.

I got a hang up. But if they give a Duke Power plug about the $32/season ($8 mo) savings - Duke DOES offer a plan called Power Manager (check website) - but I could not find where they solicit the plan with telemarketers. So if you are interested -- contact Duke directly. Could be someone uses that in case they get an answer.

Got call from this number with no message left. Seem to be getting calls like this from this area code frequently.

Receive several calls per day from this number and finally decided to answer. Caller named Corey said he was from Duke Energy and was offering me a $25 credit off my bill if I signed up for some program. When he asked me if I had an air conditioner I asked if he could first verify my account number. He was correct and also knew my name and address. Maybe it really was Duke Energy, but why would they call me several times daily everyday?
