Received a call from 'Nadine Smith calling from the processing department' about 'significant changes to your federal student loan repayment options.' Got excited at first, thinking it was actually my school calling, but then I got another call the next day at almost exactly the same time from a completely different number with the exact same message. That made me come here to see if it was a scam number. Glad to know before I wasted my time calling them back.

Recorded message from a 'Nadine Smith' in the processing department, said to call back at this number today: 714-406-4370. This seems to be a scam. Supposedly there is fantastic news about 'significant changes to your federal student loan repayment options.' I never had a federal student loan.

I never had a federal student loan, which means the significant changes would be to put me in debt.

I received the same call from good old Nadine Smith. What a pain.I started to call them back to say I must be a victim of identity theft because I never had a student loan. I was on hold forever and hung up.

I just had the same message come through from Nadine Smith, verbatim to the posts above. My phone actually identified it as a scam and sent it directly to vm. I certainly do not have any loans but my daughter does and for a split second I considered calling back but I did not after reading the messages. Thanks!

Good to know! I actually do have student loans, so I got excited for a minute because I've been trying to figure out how in the world to pay them. But then I got a second call with the exact same message before I could call back... Definitely won't be returning that call.

Same message as the others above about federal student loan repayment options and to call back at 714-406-4370. The caller ID was 714-831-5807. I don't have federal student loans so most likely this is a scammer.

They called my mom, who was a cosigner on my sister and I's loans. She forwarded the message to us, but we're both up to date, so I googled and found y'all. Looks like ol' Nadine is busy today!
