Like 'Anonymous' I received a postcard stating 'Notice of parcel hold... Final notice... To release your parcel call 714)705-4909 within 3 days' Using CallerSmart found it belongs to Mica Water Inc, a water softener company. What makes them think that a person would trust them after being deceived into calling them?
Called the number on a postcard stating I had a parcel on hold. 'FINAL NOTICE'Essentially, they want to schedule a time to deliver you a $25 gift card to you for Olive Garden, Amazon or whatever. They say they will also show you how to drain your water heater and run a full panel test on your water quality. Obviously I declined but my assumption is that they planned on telling me I need a water softener or whole house filter etc etc.
