It's not a scam, I promise. That business really had an appt scheduled under your number. I'd find out why. This is the actual number that shows when small businesses using Square are sending a legitimate appt reminder. Your phone doesn't get a virus by clicking the reminder (even if that were a possibility). What will happen is it will show the details of the appointment so you can let them know if there was a misunderstanding, or that you forgot, or if they had a typo under another client's number. I promise, I've just confirmed by sending myself another reminder. Most salons, contractors, small boutiques, & restaurants are where transactions through Square occur. I'm only letting you know because you won't be able to use certain customer service functions with any business using Square. (And it would be nice to straighten it out with the business who had you other appointment calendar.)
