Emailed me about my bofa debit card so I could call them on that number and they ask for personal info to steal identity.

The BOA Prepaid Mobile App lists this phone number on the App, It is NOT Bank of America. DO NOT CALL IT. The person will ask for you card number, Name, DOB, And last 4 of your social and then 'transfer you to Customer Protection' and leave you there. Call the number on the back of your card. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER.

This number is posted on bank of americas prepaid app as contact information for them. I wouldn’t trust it. Zero security.

This is a scam. I replied to their email “ you will be dealt with accordingly”. The email is not valid. Do not call their number.

Got an email saying my BofA prepaid card was locked for my protection. That I should call for assistance. I don’t have a BofA card.

I called this # which I had got from a app called bofa prepaid in the app store on the second ring a lady picked up and didn't even bother beaten around the bush she came right out and asked ' can I have your SSN so I can pull up your file' RED FLAG! That's not how the real boa people ask for your info they will first ask for your card # then if you don't have that then they'll ask for your last 4 of your SSN... SCAM!!!!!

Supposed to be Bank of America Customer service. Super sketchy, Definitely was not BoA but they took down all my card information, And then took money out of my account. Fraud!!

Pretending to be a Bank of America Prepaid Card, Do not give them any information, Not even your Card Number. If you get an email about a card status change, Call the number on the back of the card, Not the one listed in the email!!!

Sent me an email to call them because another account was added to my account. When I called they ased for my social security and card number. I replaced my card right away

They answer right away and ask for information the bank normally uses to verify is you I realized after it was a different number from my card be safe I called the bank and they said they do not recognize that number

I received the email today. Called and they asked for full card number and full social security number. Red flag! I told them if fraud is suspected why would I give out that information. I hung up and called the number on the back of my card. Spoke with fraud department, confirmed it’s a scam. Was told they ONLY send emails from bankofamerica. Com.

I called the number in the back of of card and there was a message and it told me to call this number had the same experience as you all. So I just got up cause I was talking to her and googling the number and came upon here. So I call the card number again and talk to a man, I didn't want to give him my social so he ends up transferring to the same lady from the other card. I'm so confused I don't even know who to call about this. Anyone can help me? It would be appreciated

Scam number. I work for Bank of America and every now and then someone will call us about receiving an email to call this number. Never call it, Always use the number on the back of your card or from the BofA website itself.

They sent me an email saying i had added another card to my account and i didnt order it i should call them. 8445111331. I called and they did not answer Bank of America may i help you. When i asked where i was calling they hung up on me. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMBER. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION.

Got an email saying my account was added to another account they got all my info but after I thought it was fishy so I had my card replaced right away

Received an email from Bank of America Prepaid Card Services stating that my card had been recently added to another account, they had 1st name and last 4 digit of the card number - I called and super shady, I got though to a live person very fast. It sounded very echoed in the background - and she young female asked for my social number - Right away I knew this was shady and hung up.

They picked up right away and asked for card information. Then left us on hold for more than 30 minutes. After waiting we finally looked it up. It became clear that it was a scam. Do not call them back if they leave a message!

I called phone number on back of my card to report all this fraud going on with my card (after email of linked account and my calling this fake number... It sounds exactly like real BofA and you must enter everything to talk to someone). BofA lady said to call that number again because they can't tell if another account was linked to my account. Luckily, I called and talked to a different lady that listed all their emails to me and said the 2 with this phone number are NOT from BofA.
