You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or 'not me' letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. Also got this text and it's totally a scam. 1. I'm 100% sure that I don't have outstanding debt. 2. My name wasn't even mentioned in the text.My recommendation, ignore it. Don't even click on the text message to read the full thing. If you did click on it already, trash it and block the number. These texts appear to be sent out blindly, hoping to trick someone into responding. Don't fall for it.

Federal Trade Commission, your State Attorney General and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau are better places to report than to the FBI. Use the information in BigA's post that tells who they are so you can give that information when you report them.

I'm also receiving this same text 'from nowhere'. Maybe the FBI should be notified?
