Calls me 10 times a day and leaves no VM. I did recently loan with Ally but they mailed me all my setup information. From reading the comments about them asking for SS#'s it must be a scam.

This number has called my fiance's phone and then my phone within minutes after calling his phone. First time getting a call from this number was yesterday morning around 9am. And it called again this morning about the same time as yesterday. This will be the 2nd day in a row that this number has called us. Never answered the call cause we don't know who it is. And it never left a voice-mail either.

I received this call for both vehicles I have financed through Ally. You can probably safely ignore it if you aren't comfortable giving your information over the phone, they're just trying to set you up with the mobile app and verify or update account info. Yes, they probably have a thick accent when you pick up. No, they aren't a scammer trying to steal your information.

Purchased a vehicle that was financed through Ally Financial. Approximately 2-3 days after my purchase this number began calling me to verify my information and HAS NOT STOPPED. I've even answered, spoke to the person and verified what I felt comfortable verifying and they are still calling me every single day.

A woman said she was calling from Ally Financial (with whom I have an account for a recent auto purchase) and she wanted to verify my personal account information. I told her 'Please give me the means to verify this information online, and I will be glad to do so. I'm not giving out my personal information over the phone.' After a pause, she said 'OK,' and hung up.Definite scammer.

It's supposedly to confirm information about a recently purchased vehicle, if you confirmed everything online, DON'T give any information to them, the person I spoke with didn't even know how to say basic phrases like 'We are confirming your information' he said 'We are, um, um, how do you say it...' I told him I confirmed everything online and Ally has the information already.

The person never says anything just calls everyday twice a day

Foreign accent female was calling said she was with Ally Financial and needed the last 4 of my social to verify my recent car loan information. I told her I was not giving her my personal information and she hung up.

This number has been calling me multiple times a day under an unknown number. Finally talked answered and it was definitely a scam. Asking for my info and social numbers

A woman with a heavy accent called our office and asked for someone I have never heard of before. I asked if they were calling to verify employment as we do have a high turnover in construction. She said 'yes'. I informed her that all employment verification requests must be in writing and then she hung up on me. It has been my experience that legitimate callers will ask for a fax number to send the request -- those that hang up are usually in collections or scammers.

Same exact thing happened to me. They don't need your social security number to identify you just seemed weird.

said she with Ally and was welcoming me on buying me new car and needed to verify my info could i give her my last four of my ss#. told her I wasn't comfortable giving that over the phone since she called me.. Could hardly understand her had a thick accent. She kept talking and I hung up. She wanted to verify ALL of my info. if they have it they don't need to verify it over the phone.

THE NUMBER CALLS US SEVERAL TIMES A DAY AND HANGS UP AFTER A FEW SECONDS

I could not under stand the person she talk in broker english. very up setting, can not talk to someone who talks english.
