Didn't answer left voicemail saying it was a collect call from correction center, I don't know anybody in jail.

Generally, I follow the same rule, but I've had to answer the last 2 calls I've received.

I've continuously gotten calls from this number, I accepted the call one time on Thanksgiving to inform whoever was calling that it was not the person that they thought it was and Friday I hadn't gotten any calls. However, this morning I have gotten at least 6 calls from this number.

In a month's time, we have received over 40 calls from this number purporting to be from (insert name here) 'Jonathan Williams' at a prison facility in 'Franklin, NC.' We don't know anyone in the prison system, nor do we wish to. Is it a scam? we do not know, but It certainly is harassment. We do not enjoy having to leave our landline phone off the hook to stop the phone from ringing as many as 10 times in a row.

Recording that said your getting a prepaid call then call was disconnected

Recording said there would be no charge for taking the call but was stated to be calling from a Correctional Facility Michael Hall was the recorded name on the other end.

Received two calls from this number ((919)647-9755) and did not answer either one. 'Googled' the number after the first call to get whatever information I could get on the number. I do not know anyone in NC, and definitely do not know anyone in prison.

Not sure who this was but, this # was leaving a call on my VM and I accepted and someone answered & said his name was Billy & I told him I think he had the wrong # The # was 919-647-9755

If You both received a call surely there is someone you both know that's trying to get in touch with you as Life is harder In Prison and rehab and people hardly ever change without support from family and friends. It was a recording saying it was a collect call from an inmate. I don't know anyone in prison. I didn't answer because my caller id said Jail/Prison. But it left me a voicemail.

If you run through most of the time its actually someone in jail that knows you. I've recently received a few calls from this number from an inmate. I know the person who is calling.

Its Global Call A service for inmates calling out of Prison. I would have to have an account with Global to answer then if I do its a charge..I have blocked this number , yet still get voice messages from them, and says to have them not call me anymore, gives a number to do that, but it dont.. Does not give that choice.

Often, when someone has no money on their books in prison, a friend will let them use their name and pin number to make a call. This is why a name that you do not recognize is heard when you answer. To make a call in prison, you have to set up a voice activated account and set an eleven digit pin number. The calls are voice recognition. The name is recorded when they first activate their account and has to match each time they make a call. Its not a robot.

Called late at night and left a number for me to call...very annoying...

This number calls over and over. Finally I started pressing Talk and then Off. That disconnects it. I hope just answering it does not incur charge on my phone bill. I do not talk to the caller. Very annoying.

This is a number globel tel-link uses if an inmate is calling from prison this number will pop up..they started using it about four months ago
