Rang Scottish power and was cut off after 3 mins. Then 01527419162 rang me but no one on the line. Think it's the same scam number.

Got one today even though account is in credit. This is a scam, don't give any information.

It is not scottish power, the company has no record of this number being used, I was on the phone with sp for an hour today, they do not use this number 01527419162

After several unanswered phone calls I took the call. They claim they are from Scottish Power and they want my credentials. I told them that I am not comfortable providing any credentials to them as I have googled this number and it has not come back favourable. They thanked me and hung up.

Phoned on my landline today asking for my daughter who hasn't lived here for 12 years. Why? Wouldn't give any details and were quite evasive.

Been phoning me constantly for the best part of 2 weeks now. As early as 8.17am and usual 4 times a day! Just silence when you answer. Nuisance call, block or ignore!

Had a call from this number today. They claimed to be Scottish Power and had the correct number of my account but absolutely no other details. Became very suspicious when they asked if I could afford to pay the whole amount outstanding on a bill I have yet to receive!!! I hung up and will pass their number onto the police.

Silent Call... If this really IS Scottish Power they ought to get their act together! I have no outstanding bill and they're behaving like Indian PPI scammers! Now have the number blocked!

This number has called me a few times, when they identified themselves as Scottish power they said they needed my details to access my account, I told her on the phone that she could be anyone and I'm not telling her my details and I would ring Scottish power myself. She then got a bit arsey saying well I can't continue with the call until you tell me who you are. I said we'll that's fine don't continue with the call for me I'm not really that bothered. They are still ringing me

Keep getting phone calls from this number. Silent most of the time but when they do answer they ask when am I going to pay my gas bill when I tell them I haven't received one yet had a call from debt collectors one time 2 days before I had received my bill disgusting behaviour from Scottish power

Very bad line, claiming to be Scottish Power & need my information to continue with the call. JOG ON! Told them to email or write to me if it’s important.

Have been called Two of three times a day by this number for over a month. Silent calls, people asking for a variety of different people. One lad actually told me to eff off when I refused to give my name!

Phoned at 8.20 this morning but hung up when I answered.

Missed a call from them, and then read the comments on here, I am with Scottish Power and have been having problems with them from day one had to raise complaints and if I have to raise another complaint will be going to the Ombudsmen. There is no way I will answer this number as I'm lucky enough to have all the evidence I require should Scottish Power ever try to take me to court.

it's Scottish power outsourced to south African collections department for money owed.

It is Scottish Power in Redditch. Had a genuine call regarding an overdue account which was my fault. Had a perfectly sensible conversation with a polite gentleman and sorted it out.

They won't stop calling me not sure if they are who they say they are but they had my bill amount and knew my email address

Have been getting repeated calls from 01527419015 supposedly from Scottish Power regarding debt on a bill which is not due yet. Called Scottish Power, they know nothing about this location or the series of numbers supposedly from Reddich. Have registered a complaint with Scottish Power and will be contacting Ofcom and the Information Commissioners office. I am 99.9% certain this is a scam!!!

This is NOT scottish power it is scammers they keep calling me but spoke to scottish power and they confirmed this is not their number and they havent tried calling do not answer or give any of your information!

Also been having exactly the same issues as above. I got one at 8.08am yesterday and that was the 8th one. I don't think so !!! Scottish Power Cathcart maintaining this is a scam call. Good luck to anyone aiming to go in the direction of the ombudsman. I reckon that their wages are paid by Scottish Power. Had dealings ref another matter where we estimate Scottish Power have overcharged my daughter arond £2000 over 2 yrs. Total waste of time.

Scam call, pretending to be collecting debts on behalf of Scottish power/fed-ex and various others.. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION! They're not even a debt collection company, it's a scam plain and simple. Phone the company they claim to be working for and they will confirm the calls are nothing but attempted fraud.

I have had 33 calls, missed and taken from 0333 566 0232. I spoke to an advisor from Scottish power asking me to set up a direct debit for the debt, even though we're paying it every month by standing order. Then got texts and calls from this 01527 number. We have spoken to them again, increased the amount we're paying each month to get the debt down yet they still call! I could understand if we weren't paying anything but we're paying a substantial amount now and they still harass us!

Keep calling me, say nothing then cuts off. Sounded like a call centre in the background... very annoying nuisance caller.

I received calls from this company within 48 hours of my most recent Scottish Power bill being issued. I have not responded to calls but spoke directly to Scottish Power following reading comments online. This number has called me repeatedly every day, I have now blocked it. I am not in debt with Scottish Power and they confirmed they have not tried to call me. This caller is clearly obtaining telephone numbers of Scottish Power customers to attempt to defraud.

This number comes up as a Redditch number on my phone.They call constantly to recover a debt that has already been paid.I submitted meter readings to Scottish Power on 13th March and the bill date was 29th March.A final reminder for money owed on March 13th dropped through my door early April then these people started calling me morning noon and night.
