Had a call about on line banking asking for my activation code said they were from the bank and needed to cancel because of fraudulent activity but I refused to give them the number I told them l would contact my bank to verify this request my bank said not to give any activation code to anyone. So if in doubt check with your bank

Had a voice message left on my land line saying it's the bank, no need to worry but please call us on 08000224389 we are open 9-5When I did a 1471 the caller no. Was 03450725555 timed 6pm. Why call out of opening hours?! Ignore anything like it his, must be dodgy.

I received a text message confirming my mandate had been amended and to call this number with any queries. After reading the above comments I knew I was right to be suspicious. Never ring the number contained in a text, letter or email.

Pretended to be MetroBank Fraud Department, English Accent, Woman, Will put recording up

I am getting daily text saying I have set up a new transaction and if it is not correct then to call this number. I am not even with this bank so obviously a scam.

Received a call from a Tom Read from this number supposedly from co op bank fraud department. Said I would call the bank to make sure. They have no record of calling me.

Keep sending me texts but I delete them.

I believe this is a scam

My husband received a call this morning at about 8.15. Caller said they were from ***** bank and were calling in connection with a transactions on companies house. They wanted to go through some security questions. My husband said he didn't deal with bank matters and could he get someone else to return the call. They gave the number as 03450725555 but the display on the phone it came up with an 0844 number. When this was put to the caller they said it was a mistake. Sounds a bit questionable!!!

Regular weekly texts saying that a new recipient was set up from account ending ****. If this was not you call the above number . Used to say lloyds bank account . Latest ones don't specify a bank .

received a letter purporting (and looking like) a letter from my husband's bank (not his branch, the telephone banking unit in Glasgow. This number was given. It looked to me like attempted fraud already since we don't have commercial accounts with the particular bank. My husband's account manager was asked to check and it was an attempted fraud. The authors have clearly switched to paper from cold calling.

Just had a call from this number - someone asking who I was. I refused to say but I asked who they were. They wouldn't say other than claiming to be from the bank. When asked which bank the said they couldn't divulge that information. Hung up on them.

Bank Fraud. This number ask you to transfer money to another bank account to protect your money from fraud. Hang up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Letter been send to mu address to contact this number. They were pretended that were Bank os Scotland. Pure scam!

Told me to jump of a bridge and insulted me after trying to scam me.

I suspect this is a scammer number disguised as genuine HSBC number. A call from this number sounded exactly the same as some previous scam call which trick me into giving them the last ten digits of my credit card number and then fooled me to give them the one time passcode to consent to a transaction.

Received call from this number claiming to be from Natwest (even though smart says Lloyds). I was advised of suspicious activity on my account. I then heard a dog barking in the background and asked if the caller was working from home. He said it must be crackle on the line, terrible at lying. He asked for my DOB and I hung up at that point.

Received a call pretending to be my bank, from the fraud department when I said I would contact the bank, he recited personal information and threatened me for money.
