I donated by text and have a call every day since from this number. Luckily I have never answered as I am always busy. But thanks for the posts now I will not be answering. This is modern life! Once you raise your hand up the clever marketing / sales methodology kicks into play. It is just like when you search for something or buy something online you become a target for more sales through the cookies.

I think it maybe them calling to confirm if you pay tax so they can claim gift aid - donations made on paper usually ask you to tick a gift aid box - I think they have to ask in person of a donation has been made by text. I did the same - donate for the ebola crisis.

I keep getting calls from this number around 3pm each day. The person never speaks when I answer. I had to block the number but found out from here it must be oxfam because I donated to them around the same time the number began harassing me.

Receiving unwanted call from this number after making text donation to sudan WATER charity which is advertised on TV. When I reject the calls my money goes down.

Also be aware of this guernsey number which to anyone else would think it's a normal mobile number 07781482110. ...apparently according to three mobile I've text this number 4 times and was charged £1 on top of my monthly bill a total rip off and I still don't know how I've text that number but it's in my auto reject list now

Contributed to Sudan Water then soon after had an unwanted call with thecidentity Guernsey which I didn't recognise so I ignored it. Won't be texting any more donations to charities!

My husband and i are getting called repeatedly and i will now only give money via shop collections .i am furious as this is wasting money that should go to the appeals and the celebrities used to front the appeals would also be furious.

Fed up of this number repeatedly ringing and for so long!

I have been having calls from this no. After several missed calls I called back just to get a recorded message saying thank you for calling back they would be in touch but I've never spoken to a live person. I have also donated money via text. Is this why they start?

I also donated to Oxfam via SMS on Saturday and have had 2 calls from this mobile number. It didn't come up on my phone where it was coming from. Worrying.

Keep getting calls from this number after donating via text to south sudan tv appeal. Genuinely puts you off donating to charity in the future which is really sad!

I made a donation through PayPal and almost immediately received a call from this number. I sent it straight to voicemail and got a message that was a few moments of what sounded like office background before it cut off. The number has been added to my blacklist.

f*** OXFAM. If these wan**rs are spending money on harassing people that donate money by mobile they obviously need to have a good look at what they regard they should spend the money on.

Really annoying. This shouldn't be allowed. I am sure it is related to donating to Oxfam as they started ringing me just after I donated by text. Put me off ever doing that again!

I made a text donation to Oxfam 10 days ago, and am now receiving daily missed calls from this number. I have not picked up. Hope it is from UK and not using my credit from overseas. If Oxfam I wont donate again by text, so is reverse selling.jacanda

Yes - same as everyone else. Gave a donation to Oxfam two or three days ago via mobile, and keep getting calls now. I live in Spain, and these calls are costing ME money to receive. I did speak to someone first time they rang and I made it clear that I was not interested in any further information or requests from them. Pity, as they do good work, but I'll turn into the HULK if they do it again.

This number keeps calling me atleast twice a day nearly every day, I won't answer as I dont recognise the number, and they don't leave a message. How can I stop them.
