Calls recorded as contact from my land line during night and early morning. calls lasting less than one minute but charged to my bill at full mobile charge rate

one hundred calls in 3 weeks. how do we stop it?

This number is the cost of calls from your burglar alarm. I just checked my bill and realised it matched the times when we were testing our new system and the alarm was sending us texts when activated. 52 calls in total! Whoops

As with others this seems to have started when I got a new alarm installed. No idea how to stop them. I am going to contact the alarm company.

I just noticed my phone bill 59call on this number cost me 34p each time and another 71call on next day 25call on 4th day isn't better if they call once only . any one have any idea how to stop these calls and get refund thanks

We seem to be having the same problem as above, the number apparently ringing the 077 number is our dedicated alarm line! loads of these calls - not sure what's going on

Am with Virgin media a single text cost 28p + vat . My alarm system does send a few out. This can be addressed. Consultant your manual or alarm engineer. Pyronix

Getting billed when on holiday and I haven't dialled this number

I understand that this is a call from my alarm system which is converted to a text message to my mobile to advise me that my alarm has gone off. I received 82 of these calls at £0.35 each. Surely ONE call would have done.

16 calls from the past mon our alarm dials our mobiles so it’s not that. Bt said it’s a scam number and refunded us.

This number is used to translate to text for intruder messages from my house alarm to my mobile

we’ve been getting these calls from this number for about 4 years weve contacted bt they say its the alarm people contact the alarm people they put us back to bt it stops for a while then starts again this time only 2 times in 3 months back in april 2018 for 30 secs and 34 secs is for sure a scam needs to be blocked ? Any suggestions !

Not many people realise the problem lies with Vodafone who manage the server used by their Castle/Pyronics control board in their security system. There is no point blaming BT or SKY. The problem lies with Vodafone/Pyronics

Just discovered we have had hundreds of these calls since April call lasts 1.7 seconds. Haven't received any texts to say the alarm has gone off. Only noticed as bills rocketing. We were with true telecom who seem to have sold us on to chess ict. The number on the bill states uk vodaphone have contacted vodaphone and they say it's not registered to them. Does anyone know how to stop it and if we can get our money back?
