A lady called about my violation of immigration law and asked me to go to a website she provided. Her tone was rude and talked about reporting me to the police...

Caller said they were with the US CIS and that I had violated an immigration law. I hung up the phone when he was attempting to get me to confirm that I knew it was a recorded call.

The caller said that he was calling from the Govt, dept of USCIS, that I was in violation of my I9, and was in serious trouble. When I questioned him, he said do you know what an I9 is? When I told him I certainly knew what it was, and was certain that I did not need an I9, he hung up. It was obvious that he did not work for the government.

He did not state his name, but i was on the phone with a lady who claimed i did not input the right information in my taxes and said i had a warrant under my name from Homeland security. An 'officer' named Brain Allen from homeland security left a message stating my name and a warrant id. The guy said i must drive up to upstate (6 hours drive) to put my warrant on hold. The number they called me from was 202-208-7234. This is a scam !!!!
