Call from Kim at tradepub.com Not sure if it is a legit call

They called me at work and asked the receptionist for me. Said they were calling from tradepub.com in response to some research I had done. (untrue) He said I'd need to log in with my email and password to get their free offer. At that point I simply hung up.

Called my desk phone at work. I ignored the call. No VM left. A search on the phone # led me here, where it is obvious this number is used for scams.

Called and asked for [employee name] in regard to 'some research he requested'. Said he would send an email.

Called saying they were from 'tradepub.com' and that I had done some research on their website and wanted to send me something. I've been getting calls from these people from a variety of numbers for months now. I always just tell them no I haven't and to stop calling me. Of course they never stop.

Yep I just got this same call. Only I asked a lot of questions in particular where they were calling from. He said in very broken English that he was calling from South Africa. Really? Can some one tell me then how do they get phone numbers with New York area codes? These calls take up so much of my day!

Telemarketer

I did not pick up the call even call daily around 10.30am EST for last 3 days. I figure if it is really important, they will leave a voice mail. But they never did...

Called work cell phone. No message left.

Several lines lit up at 8:00 a.m. when night service was turned off. After rushing a customer off the line to get the other lines flashing, I pick up to hear voices in the back ground, telemarketing. Wonderful, true customers have to fight to get through the sales calls. . . . number is being blocked by Telecom.

Spam/solicitation

Phishing / hacking attempt. They called themselves 'tadepub' and were trying to verify my name and email address. Then they sent me an email and were very pushy about clicking on the link in the email. Obviously the link would have contained a virus or something like that. Do not give them your information and do not click on their links or attachments if they try to send you an email!

My caller ID actually displayed 'SPAM CALLER with the phone number. I did not answer.

This is a scum bag scam call for sure !!! Do not give out any information to them. They lie to get you to give them info. Beware beware beware .I can't stress this enough people

Called my place of work and asked for someone that didn't work there. I transferred to another coworker who then told me it was a telemarketer/spam.

Called work phone. Left no message.

They dialed me through my office reception desk (not direct). Said they were calling from tradepub.com, to offer me a free e-publication as follow up for some research they had done for me. (I don't work in a position that uses research.) She said I'd need to log in with my email address and password to get the offer. I asked if she had my email address and she did, even confirming it to me. Then I asked what research they did for me and she didn't know. But she said that I went through salutory.com, which is a website that doesn't exist. I asked for her to take my email address and telephone number off of their list but I'm sure this is only the beginning of the marketing calls...

The caller rang and rang and rang the line while I was on a second line with a REAL CUSTOMER. When I got to her line all I could hear was telemarketers in the bank ground. I called her out on it, she wanted to argue but I put her on hold. Only telemarketers would ring a line a zillion times!

Called my office phone and didn't leave a voicemail. Then immediately called my mobile and didn't leave a voicemail either. Must not be urgent or legit.

called. I sent the call to voicemail before it was completed, but none was left.

Seems to be the same as everybody else, SPAM! Called 3 times in a row, left no message
