Today they called and I answered, which I rarely do when I don't recognize a phone number. They told me that someone had opened an account in my name then put me on hold to transfer me to there investigations unit. During the hold I quickly went online to check out the authenticity. Be careful! I'm sure that I would have figured out that it was a scam, but they engaged me enough (knew my name and obviously my number) to be initially concerned.

This number is a fishing attempt to collect your back Data. It is NOT Navy Fedreal. Number was verified with NFCU, and it is not associated with the bank at all. Do not call back, nor give them any information.

Once a day for the past year, they continually call

Calls multiple times a day. Very annoying and would never do business with these NFCU shysters ever because they're such obnoxious a******s.

Called me at 9pm on a Friday to tell me he wanted to help with pandemic relief and wouldn't give me any info unless I gave him my info first. Very fishy.

Would not say what call was about

Called long after regular business hours, twice. After confirming when I would be paying my mortgage during the first call, I recieved another call the next day about the same thing.

Kindly take notice that this is a total scam! Do not engage with these individuals nor give away your priveledged information. I informed Navy Federal Credit Union as well. Take note Navy Federal Credit union will never call you to request any information. Also they will call you from a toll free number.

4th time calling today

They called me a couple days now saying navy fed has important business with me and then gives me a random number I just blocked them and went on about my day

Asking for me to call back. I have nothing to do with the Navy Federal Credit Union.

My Discover Identity Protection sent me a notice that this Navy FCU, made an inquiry about my credit. I do not recognize or know about any activity.

They just call to listen and then hang up

This number calls me all of the time but this last time was very creepy and unsettling. They left a voicemail of just someone breathing very heavily for like a minute. My phone transcribed the voicemail and said it was saying ' Hello...hello... hello' I wish they would just leave me alone.

Told me I have an outstanding balance. My girlfriend has a card with them, so they offered to transfer me to different department. Other department asked for DOB and last 4 of SSN. Gave it, and they put me on permanent hold. Embarrassing, but there you go.
