Said he was from the IRS, Very heavy accent, I could hardly understand him and he sounded like he was reading a script. He cut himself off once and I didn't answer the second call. He has left two voice mails which I am ignoring.

Just got that same phone call this morning, 7/10! He said his name was Officer Kevin Nash from the IRS. Very strong Indian accent. He claimed that he wanted to know whether I had gotten a lawyer for my lawsuit with the IRS. He also used my maiden name. He said that if I wanted more information regarding my lawsuit that he would have the local police give me the information and that I would be arrested.

Left a message that he was from the IRS and that I had federal charges pending and needed to contact him before I was arrested. He used my maiden name from over ten years ago. I told him there was no one here by that name. He was foreign of Indian descent and could barely speak English.

Called a little while ago, heavy accent, said I would be arrested if I did not call him back. Caller id showed up as 0-000-000-0000 so I didn't answer. He left a message.

Indian sounding guy calls at 7:25 this morning asking for me by my first name, I asked who he was and why he was calling so early. Kept asking for me by my name and said I am being investigated for tax fraud. I told him that was bullshit and he knew it. He disconnected.

If any of you still wonder if this is a scam - I was called as well - I am a Canadian living in Canada with no ties to the U.S. or the IRS.

Called me on my cell phone an hour ago, Says he was an officer with the IRS and if I did not call back and make arrangements to pay back income tax I would have my bank accounts seized and be arrested. Obvious fraud scheme.

'Dan White' IRS officer left a VM for me today... 'We have received Legal Petition notice against your name for tax evasion. Before it goes to Federal Court house, or you get arrested call us. Have a blesse day'This really ticked me off... the sad thing is someone is going to be so scared and end up sending money to these folks that these type of scam calls will continue.

As above, claims to be IRS collecting a debt or the police will arrest.

Someone claiming to be with the IRS left a message stating that I needed to call back due to a federal charge and had a limited amount of time to respond and could face arrest.

Left a message on my father's answering machine. Definitely reading from a script. Started before the beep, so didn't even catch the beginning, but hitting us up to call for information before going to court/jail etc. IRS does not make calls -- Period. This is a SCAM, unfortunately just one or two suckers makes it worth it to them, then they toss the disposable phone when they're done. This number will be dead in another week. Report all calls to the IRS.

Left message on phone machine, in broken English, that he was calling to collect a debt before we get arrested. We don't owe anyone money, it's a scam.

This jerk is really stupid, He calls all the time, He leaves long messages. One of the messages In the beginning he said this is officer David White from the IRS, at the end of the same message he said his name was officer Marvin Magic from the Internal Rev Ser. 703-542-1723 there is another number but I deleted it. He can hardly speak English. Sounds like he is in a car. We will never answer the calls.

this is a scam, the IRS will NEVER bug you via telephone, these people prey on the handicapped and the elderly, ***IF EVERYONE THEY CALL JUST CALLS BACK 10 TIMES, THEN WE CAN TIE UP THEIR PHONE LINES AND PUT THEM OUT OF THEIR ILLEGAL BUSINESS, thank you for your time.
