I received a Notice dated 02/03/15 in regards to my Student Loan from US DOE Federal Offset Unit and Dept. of Treasury Bureau of Fiscal Service. I have been on SSA Disability since March of '11. Art that time I inquired about Disability & Student Loan basically was told don't worry about it, You don't have to pay, the Loan is forgiven. So I didn't worry about until I got this Notice that said my Monthly Disability MAY be reduced by up to 15%, but it the monthly benefit could not go below $750. Sure enough this morning, exactly 1 month later the Benefit is reduced (Disability Benefit are posted on the 3rd of the Month, approximately). I got no Notice, but I did find out that I should have filled out certain paperwork along with my Dr. back in '11 & have gotten the paperwork & completed it, & mailed it. Typical Gov't incompetence, every single 1 of them, from Obama down to the lowliest municipal employee deserves to rot in hell after suffering a horribly painful death.
