This number called me 6 times in 17 minutes. I finally had to block them. They would not leave a message. They also called 3 times on August 6th, within 2 minutes and again on August 13th. Never leaves a message.

They called but left no message. I will block them based on comments that I have read about them.

You'd think an ALARM COMPANY would use some kind of Caller ID. It was my friend's house alarm that had gone off. I didn't pick up because I know some real jerks in Utah. :)

It's Vivint, I stupidly signed up for a ripoff 'free' alarm system that had a 5 year contract with it 46 months ago and they are trying to get me to sign up for another 2 year contract! Yeah right! I'm dropping them 1 day after 5 years!

I keep getting telemarketing calls from this number and I want them to stop.

I received two calls from Vivent at this number at 6:30 a.m. I did not answer but the message said they were calling the police. Vivent is the new name for APX security. Right after these two calls I received a call from 801-2216-5232 and the message said something about if you want to report a false alarm call---or whatever.These calls were all on April 20, 2011. Last night at 10:30 p.m. I received a call from Vivent at 801-2272-7000. I called them back and you must press one button after another. Finally a voice said to wait on the line for a live person. So I waited and waited and waited. No music or anything. I finally just hung up knowing I would never get to speak to anyone. They do have a recording to refer you to call 802-216-5232. I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau for shoddy business practices. I long ago had my phone number listed in the do not call listing. They not only call but they call early in the morning and wake me up and they call late at night after I have gone to bed. They should have THEIR PHONE DISCONNECTED!!!

This is Vivint and they want to install an expensive security system in your home for $4,000 and stick you with a 5 year contract and they lie about everything

This number is for Vivint Inc. formerly APX Alarm, this is the number they use when dialing out from customer support and monitoring. Generally if your receiving a call from this number you have an alarm system with them or someone you know has put you down as an emergency contact and their alarm system went off.

It's APX Alarms, just like everyone else said. I just talked to them.

Received a call.from.this number that went straight to voice-mail. Unwanted, unknown, and highly aggravating.

Just received a call from this number checking how my Vivint security system was doing. I explained I have issues with my camera and he could not see that i had a camera. Since I was called at work, I asked him to let me call him back. This was my way of discontinuing the call. I figure I received this call since I am getting close to cancelling the VIVINT contract. I do not trust their way of doing business.

I received (3) calls today from 801-227-7000 - Provo, UTat 7:28, 7:32 am, and 7:48.I did not respond to any of these; I do not inwo who this is and do not want him to call me.

I don't have an alarm system...my 3 dobermans will do for now. And I assure you, no one put me on a list to be contacted in case of an emergency. I was home and in the shower. I'm glad I didn't pick it up. It's probably a company trying to sell me an alarm system.

Apparently it's connected to alarm monitoring system.

This is a Vivint security number. If you called them to make changes or add something to your system this is the number they call back on if they need any further information from you. Vivints central office is located in Provo, UT.

Its a Alarm Co., trying to get a hold of you when your alarm is set off. Good company...They just want to get a hold of you to see if somebody robbed your house. They will not leave a message, because of security reasons.

I got a call today 8-4-2010 from this number, no message. I didn't answer. When I did a reverse lookup on 411.com it said it was an unpublished number in Provo Utah. Anyone know who it is?

This is from APX security in the states. I do not have an alarm system from them, however, my sister does and i'm on the call list for emergency alarms.

this is a scam... they try and dupe you to give you there security code to the alarm..... they left a message about someones alarm going off that i didnt know and started to ask for my info and then asked for my alarm password lmfaooooooooooooo [***] out of here!!!

just got a call from the same number. it happened right after i send a message on facebook with my number. I wonder if that has any connection. I hope not, thats why i sent it through message and noot my wall

Bastards will not stop calling.

It is APX Alarm calling about an alert with your system. Sometimes it's because your phone provider dropped out and they were unable to communicate with you via your system. Sometimes it's because your alarm is going off at your home.

Got a missed call from this number and no message was left. I did not return the call. Does anyone know anything about this, or what I can do to prevent these types of calls?
