Hi everyoneUseful thread. I just received a $20 chaege on my mastercard with the detail as 801-413-7200 and decided to google it. Indeed it is Eventbrite. I paid for a luncheon online for my company's retiree AGM. Listing the charge as Eventbrite would save us from thinking we are being scammed!

Thought this was a scam, too but Forgot this was an Eventbrite ticket as I donated $10, but there was a tax/service charge of $1.30

for once, not spam -- it IS a charge for tickets purchased. We ordered tickets for a seminar on retirement and this is how the charge appeared on the credit card, a partial name of the event and this 801 area code phone #. I agree, the ID information on the credit card could be clearer! But in this case - it is real and legit. Always check on these things, though!
