I've been receiving calls from this number too, and it immediately sounded shifty, even though the fellow on the other side of the line conducted himself very professionally. Go with your gut, as these guys will even politely seem like they want to help, which is a shift from most scammers

Yes it is a bank scam. I contacted BMO, they called the number, got an answering machine saying that they were Canada Direct. NO INSTITUTION will call ever asking for detailed info!!!! Be aware of that!!!!
