This is the number they use to make initial contact with businesses that have met previously with the sales representative. They offer services that are not available to the general public.

Man with a foreign accent claimed to be from the Postal Service and wanted to speak to the person in charge of mailing. I told him we use a Pitney Bowes machine. He repeated his line.I transferred him to a dead line.Why do all of these calls involve someone with a foregin accent? Oh, because they are scammers.

Why would the post office waste time and resources to call to inform you of postage changes when the information is available on their website. Caller wanted an email address to send SPAM to. He did ask for my boss by name so if you received a call from them, your information has been sold. So sick of these calls...

Woman with extremely heavy accent said she was from USPS customer service and wanted to give me contact info in case we had any shipping issues. She gave me an 800 # and an email address. Did not ask for any info from me that are not on the USPS website. Super weird. If it is a recorded line and they get you to say 'OK' to something, can they do anything with that?

she said my name is Marcella I am calling from USPS a curtesy call for shipping etc. etc. said to email don't call back on this number just email. [email protected]. could be a scam as the usps has never called me before but they do have a survey you can take which I haven't ever when I mail and get all my tracking numbers for packages. the number 1-844-400-8777 when called back it said you have reached USPS this number is for outbound calling only so I hung up.

Lady called saying she worked with USPS and was conducting a survey. She asked if the address she had was up to date which it wasn't. She then said 'See how out of date my system is' and asked for my new business address. That set off the red flags right there. I declined to tell her the new address. She then got defensive and said with an attitude 'Well if you didn't want to speak to me, you could have just said that' and hung up on me.

Caller ID came in as USPS. The male caller identified himself with a name I couldn't understand. He asked how I was doing. When I replied 'well, thank you' , there was a silence and I hung up. I suspected it was a scam. It's rare to be able to get a live person when calling the USPS and a once in a lifetime event that I would receive a call from them.

It's USPS calling when you sign up for Click n' Ship. They outsource the call center overseas. Just trying to get you to ship with USPS. I signed up yesterday and they called today. Specifically asked if it was in reference to me signing up for my business and they said yes.
