Sent $80.00 to this number on Zelle for tickets. It was a scam. I am out $80.00.

While there may be nefarious activity by unscrupulous Zelle subscribers, I just wanted to say that I AM a Zelle subscriber, and this number 844-445-9584 is the number from which I receive legitimate Zelle text messages. Also, it's one of the numbers shown on Zelle's website for customer service. Proceed, but with caution as always.

It’s definitely a scam. I never joined and started receiving texts from this number

Received test - Zelle: Your verification code is 372819

Received a text message and an email from someone named Aviur, A. message states, 'AVIUR, A. sent you $5.00 with Zelle.'

Again, forward all suspicious texts to 7726, which is the code used by most cell phone providers for reporting these type of texts. Do not click on any links nor respond to the text. If the code is not accepted, call your provider for the correct code. Then block and delete after forwarding.

Two texts around 2AM with different Zelle verification codes. I do not have and did not sign up for Zelle. I'm thinking it's a phishing scam.

I got this same text, followed by a text about someone zelling me money ... and somehow the money ended up in my bank account ... very strange as that bank does not support zelle and so I never set it up there.

I doubt he actually got anything other than a scam text. Plenty of 'story tellers' like to pretend they are the one who came out on top.

Received a text: 'Zelle: You have activated your profile with Zelle. Reply STOP to end msgs or HELP for help.'I have never signed up for Zelle and do not have accounts with Bank of America. Seems fishy.

Whyyyyy Jacob why??? It is very easy to mistakenly send on these apps.. Smh..that is super bad karma for only 500$ I can't believe you didn't send it back. Wow..A quick come up for some bad karma served slow and 🔥...

Received text, ( Zelle: 'Your verification code is 369643' ) I suspect someone trying to hack.

I recieved message saying someone sent me $500 via zelle, I checked my account and sure enough they did. I did nothing got a text from them saying sorry I sent you $ accidentally. I still did nothing they called a month later I answered and played dumb with them. Hell if there that stupid to send it to me in the first place I ain't given it back because that could get me in trouble for laundering or something....
