Called Spectrum Mobile getting 833 295 7283 number from TV adregarding Spectrum Mobile advertisement from day before. Caller 'Ken' (no last name allowed) wanted to confirm I was 'who their data showed me to be'. Gave him my DOB & S.S. Number, unfortunately. High pressure to sign up for Spectrum Mobile service. Very unhappy about tactics used and regret having given this information to a stranger... not sure if it was valid Spectrum service or not. Did not. sign up for service.

Recorded message says changes to our Spectrum account were made and call if we did not make changes. This number given.

Just received a call from 855-707-7328 claiming to be Spectrum stating I requested a change in my account and I needed to call if I had not requested a change.

saying they were spectrum called 10 times in a row. no messagethey called 0n Saturday . didn't answer. why cant this be stopped.

Caller ID stated 'RACHEL AND FRANK', so I let it go to voicemail. Kept calling until I answered, was automated Spectrum message asking me to confirm that I had cancelled a service call.

Called to say that they needed to come inside our house to check the quality of the modem. Don't have time for that. Will see if I hear anything else, e.g., through the mail.

I received a suspicious email in my inbox from spectrum stating that changes to my postal address had been made and I checked and it is still the same, I did not click the email out of fear that they might try to scam in some type of way but I confirmed with the officials in spectrum that there are phishing emails being sent around, I will report this to IC3 government as well.

on 4/5/19 received a post card type notice saying I needed to call 1- 855 707 7328 as it said it was confirmation of recent changes because our online password has been changed.We have no password.After reading the comments on this site realized this was a spam and did not respond.Thank you for providing a site to report this.

Called me this morning three times - five minutes apart. Leaves voicemail. However, when try to listen to voicemail there is nothing there. I never answer unknown calls. I will look the number up on google and if not a legal call, I block it.

He or she tryed to make a transaction of like 200 dollars and the name of the person was spectrum it said

Answered because caller ID said call was from Spectrum and our area has that service. No one on other end.

Spectrum needs to fix their caller id from RACHEL AND FRANK to show SPECTRUM instead.

The message left was an automated recording saying that changes had been made to my Spectrum account and to contact them if we had not made changes. I called Spectrum and spoke with someone who assured me that no changes had been made. She said that I was the third call she had received today asking the same question and no changes had been made to their accounts either. She thought the recording has been directed to the wrong accounts and that everyone in her office will be having a very busy day

Like everyone else here, I just rec'd a call stating changes have been made to my acct, and if I didn't make these changes to call this number. Not calling back. Getting way too many calls like this lately. I didn't make any changes. I only logged in a couple days ago to review the info on my acct and to reboot my DVR because of issues occurring. This was an automated call.

It was someone named John Oliver from DirecTV and giving us the number 1-385-777-4759 with extension G07855. We tried that number but it keep on ringing then the answering machine picked up saying that it was full. Then I did *69, it came up to a completely different number and it's the number that I'm complaining about.

Caller ID states, 'Spectrum'... Legit robo call from Spectrum, stating internet speed has been upped for free to subscribers~! Hopefully this was them, and not a scammer~!

Called saying he was my grandson. When I mentioned my grandsons name he said I had to keep this a seacret that he was arrested for a accident in Miami and need help. I gave him a reason it was no to call his dad. (My grandson doesn't have an accent.) and he hung up. It has been reported to Federal trade commission consumer response center.

Called at noon. ID said Toll Free Call. Didn't answer. Not a Spectrum/Time Warner anymore.

Bad connection. Person insisted on talking but cell phone was garbled. Couldn't figure out what he was trying to say.

Answered and 'David Goodman' id'd himself as calling from Publishers Clearing House saying we won. He wanted to keep us talking but we hung up. It's a scam!

Didn't actually receive a call. Received an email stating that my online account password and security questions had been changed and to call 1-855-70-SPECTRUM (1-855-707-7328). Being suspicious, I did some internet searching and came across this thread. I too logged into my account, and nothing had been changed. Glad I had the where-with-all to follow my instinct.

(855) 707-7328 left no message. (855) 757-7328 is the ACTUAL SPECTRUM NUMBERSo glad you corrected the person who said the 707 number was Spectrum's number. I was thinking I should not block it then, until I read your post and double-checked the actual Spectrum number. Can you imaging going through life scamming people?Thank you for posting.

this was an email notice that my acct password had been changed. i logged in because i had made not changes to it and immediately changed my password. I did not call the number after reading the complaints on this website.

Spectrum's customer service # is 855-757-7328. *Note Spectrum's is 757 NOT 707. Furthermore when doing a reverse lookup on whitepages, 855-707-7328 is belongs to Sharon Louise Hassell (Age 70s). You may want to contact the FTC about this, I'm sure there are other complaints.

Rec'd call from this number stating Spectrum services had been added and if I didn't make this change to call. Rather than call this 855 number, I called the number on my Spectrum bill. Spectrum confirmed NO changes had been made. This is a scam - don't fall for it!

Received an email saying my account password was changed. Later called real spectrum (not the bs one the scammers sent, because anytime you get an email that you didn't do. Never click links or call numbers.) and they told me it is a scam. Nothing was done to my account at all. Not even a request password. Scammers are trying hard to get us now.

The person was looking for another person. I asked them to add me to the do not call list. They proceeded to call me 10 times in 9 minutes. They called 5 times in two minutes preventing me from blocking the number on my cell.

It is really Time Warner????I found complaints stating this # called them. One said they called to say they updated their internet to faster speed free of charge & wanted to let them know. The person isn't even a spectrum user. Another complaint said they called to ask do you know why your cable isn't working. Cable doesn't do that either.

Called ID and person on phone said (with an accent from India) he was from Spectrum. He told me I could reduce my bill by bundling my services. I told him that if he were really from Spectrum that he would know that I already bundle my TV, Internet and Phone. He kept talking about reducing my monthly bill. I asked him what it would be.He then wanted to know how many TVs I have. I told him once again, that if he were from Spectrum he would know. I told him 2 sets and asked what price he was offering. He came back with a price that was more than I am paying. I told him he was a fraud and hung up!

I got an email saying changes had been made to my security code. This customer service number is on the email. It is different than my bill (I already had customer service in my phone) so it looked strange. According to a real spectrum representative they are phishing for small bits of info.

I received a call from: V5161559480 (Caller ID) the number it was associated with was 855-707-7328. I answered it and there was nothing. Obviously someone is spoofing the Spectrum number.

Automated call from Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) with a reminder to trade in and upgrade my Internet modem for free. I am a Spectrum customer; nothing suspicious about this. Perfectly legit call.

Called... did not answer... CID as indicated... message left from 'Spectrum' advising me that they had increased my Internet speed at no additional charge to me. Just one small problem... they ARE NOT my service provider. I have had Spectrum in the past... but it's been awhile... you would think their Customer database would no longer include my name and number. Sketchy...
