It was my health plan, Kaiser Southern California, with an automated call about getting a flu shot. It was legit.

I always use the Kaiser Mail Order Pharmacy and receive the calls to let me know my Rx has been mailed, but today I received a strange call from this phone number asking me to enter my Medical Record Number. I hung up. This sounds like a scam where they call you and to verify you start asking personal information.Why are there so many shills posting that is is from Kaiser? If someone already knew it was them, why would they look the number up on this site, then post that this is Kaiser?BEWARE - NEVER, NEVER, NEVER provide personal information when any person or business calls you - they are phishing (yes, that is spelled correctly - look it up) for information so they can steal your identity. Did I say NEVER? NEVER EVER

I looked it up because I didn't know who it was before I looked it up. I then listened to the message, which was indeed from Kaiser. I have not, however, received an automated call from Kaiser which asked me to input my medical record number.
