I cannot believe I am seeing people complain about this same issue since 2010! This is incredible.. we are talking about food, what people need to survive! We are applying because we don't have money for food. The least the state could do is have people on the phones helping us, make our applications go through seamlessly. Now I am certain the phone number 1-866-762-2237 is a dead end. I was denied because my application said I was a student.. this is crazy. They contact you through mail; just to get a question answered or get a response could take weeks. How do they not understand, we need faster communication! I have called 866-762-2237 47 times and the system is programed to hang up on you in 6 minutesyou will never get to speak to anyone?the state of fl must be keeping alot of money in their coffers by making food stamps unavailable to the very taxpayers that deserve them, I have terminal lung cancer and am on medicaid and SSI they have not cut off my benefits? I was laying in the hospital when my review or whatever you call it came up so now I am cut offand cant seem to get through a computer program to sign up again????????????

Always stay a step ahead of them and do your recertification before they even send you the letter asking you to recertify. And as soon as you get done with that print out your employment verification form, have it filled out, and send it in. If they want a interview call as soon as you open the letter. Don't stop calling until you get it done. You can't give up, I know the line is busy most of the time. If you do all this you shouldn't have to call them for any thing and you will be approved in no time.

I got through by calling the 1866 726 2237 and hitting the SPANISH Option. It says a rep will come on the phone within 21 minutes. Maybe there is hope. THIS IS DESPICABLE. Needing anything from the government feels like garbage and as if you are being treated as such.

Ridiculous! I am an employer and we received a benefit eligibility form with this number as the contact number. The form looks shady and not legitimate, and no one will answer at the number given, no matter what options you push.

HELP - I'm in Indiana! I recently got a new cell phone and new number. I am getting several calls daily from an automated caller (412) 713-7278 in regards to the Child/Family Services of... (names the child and the services this child recieves) The call originates from STAYWELL (a company based in PA that has no known fax or call number) After the automated caller gives me the 'private' and sensitive information of this family and child...it instructs me to call the Florida Division of Family and Children at this number 866-762-2237. There is no opt out and there is no operator to tell they are calling and giving out case information to complete strangers. I realize a quick remedy would be to change my number - but this isn't right...I felt I should alert someone.

the interview number 866-517-7295 doesnt work any more just tells you to call 866-762-2237. does not seem to be anyway to get a human on that line. if you press numbers like zero several times it just hangs up on you. this number is useless. i'll i'm wanting is the 800 fax number, i cant find it any place on line, just fax numbers for local offices.

I hate dcf because it is BS the fact dat i havw two babies am not working they cut my medicaid and they give us only 358 for four of us when he is the only one working fk dcf bs.

Unfortunately, [email protected] is no longer a valid email. My mother left Florida and no longer gets Medicaid. She moved to Arizona and cannot get Arizona health insurance until she gets confirmation that her Medicaid has ceased. She has called 866-762-2237 for 2 weeks and cannot get a real person. All she needs is for Florida to tell Arizona her Medicaid ceased.
