I've been receiving calls from 1-866-928-0183 and 877-543-1115. When I call back it says it's Direct TV. I call Direct TV to complain and they have no record of these calls, or the phone numbers in their systems. Reading the other people's posts leads me to believe this is a scam, or an auto-dialer gone wrong. Ugh!

They've only called me a couple of times, and we are DIRECTV customers, but today they left a VM and it was dead air but I could definitely hear things going on in the background, people talking & laughing and industrial sounds...definitely DID NOT sound like a call center environment. Makes me a little worried that it probably is a scam. Safest thing for everyone to do is not answer and don't get too worked up about it. It is what it is.

Caller Id work phone....I always put in the search when there is a number like this to find out if there are others...because I have heard of scams where they want you to call back and then you get charged something because its from overseas...don't know but am always cautious. Then when I learn from searching I just ignore these calls when I can.

We keep reporting this number, but nothing is done about it. If it is Direct Tv, we are havingours disconnected next week. They call our house twice a day even though they were told to take us off the calling list. This is HARRASSMENT. Something needs to be done about it.

They called about a promotion for direct tv stating you could get certain channels for free for 3 months and then for only 13$ the next 3 months. I called direct tv and it was a fake number. Don’t answer just block them!

Some woman said she was directv. Stating they were offering showtime channels at a reduced cost for x number of months. I said I wasn’t paying for anything I never said the word “yes” or “yea” so I guess I’ll just need to keep close look or anything that could come up in the future as fraudulent stuff.
