This number has called me many times, and their number shows up as TELUS. I talked to them once, and they did not have my correct information. I think this is a scam. Beware.

A guy called, offer me a promotion of 200 dollars credits + 12 month home security camera system. Strong Indian accent with past information about me. I knew he was a scammer when he called in, I kinda played with him but got bored very quickly, so I denied his offer. He hung up, but I am pretty sure he or other scammer will call me again with other number.

Caller mentioned my house no. But NOT the street no. Though. She asked for the street no. For verification purposes which I DECLINED to give. She hang up.

Person called Abdul tried to confirm my account with TELUS to give me $100 credit for a bundle if I signed up for two years on Internet and phone even giving me the internet for free. He even knew that I had a cell phone through TELUS/ Koodo. When I asked him about a number to call him back, he told me 888-519-0122 with his ext;704. When asked, his Id was HKZ3. When I asked him to send me the deal by email, he would not do it stating that it was such a good deal that I had to act immediately.

calls numerous times saying important message for a person who is not known to us. Its now getting extremely annoying!

Called saying they were from Koodo and they tried to tell me they were raising awareness about some app for booking doctors appointments or something. Obvious scam to hijack my phone. Don't ever download an app from some random caller.

Claimed to say Telus acquired Alarm Force and some how knew who my cell phone provider was. Wanted to sell security system. If legit, not happy they would contact me directly, from an 888 number. Will be blocking the their number. It seemed fishy

1-888-519-0122 called me, I listened at first because the guy didn't answer when I said hello, I heard him say 'none of these f*****g people are stupid enough to bite' so when he heard me saying 'Hello' his demeanour changed and it was almost a different guy on the phone, so I replied 'no, weren't not stupid enough' and I hung up. I'm not sure if it was Telus; if it was they're extremely unprofessional but if they're not, well, I'm leaning towards this number being a bunch of scammers.

A male person from this number called and tried to sell me Automated or automatic smart mobile deal. Once he asked me with which mobile provider we are and why we are wlth them and how much we pay monthly etc. I've flgured out that it wasn't TELUS and stopped the call.

Keeps calling, have now added to my contacts with the first name 'Scammers' and last name 'don't answer' which will now show as the caller ID when they phone again and I know not to answer.

Received a call promising to service my account. Said he would look into the particulars, but he was unable to see any of the details on his end. He then tried to sell me a 'smart home thermostat'. I declined. He said that he would look into my account with his manager and call me back. I am relieved that I didn't give up any sensitive information. Posting this here in hopes of helping other to avoid falling prey.

Asked for personal info that Telus would already have access to. Total scam, had some knowledge of recent service subscription which was disarming but my feelers were up almost immediately. Security services, dark web monitoring, etc. 'I'm just checking now'...Do not fall for this.

Said Telus but didn't pick up. If it's important they will leave a message.After reading this page I blocked the number.I have a rule that NEVER answer any call that isn't in my phonebook. No message and I block you :)

Trying to sell me some type of security package. Just seemed off after he described it all. Somehow knew my address and even call history. I hung up.

Guy claiming to be telus. Kept asking for my Credit card to sign me up for a better rate.

Called and immediately hung up with a weird time.

Made an attempt to build a trust with me and made believe he was a Telus rep. Extremely convincing. I have never fallen for scam before and now I know the signs.
