This number calls at different times all week long, even in the middle of the night. They won't quit, even after all the calls they've made for months. When we see the name and # on caller ID we just let it ring. Do any of these ?companiew? ?individuals? ..... whatever, have any limit to # of calls they'll make to same number before they'll stop calling it? I hope at least some of them are using cell phones and paying for the wasted minutes they use!

Im sure you are real satisfied with yourself when you go home at night too. I know if I went to work everday trying to ruin someones life Id find a different career. Then again if all you are able to do with your life is be a collections agent then that says enough about your character. What a tool.

yeah, me too--i got a call from this number for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, n got the same message--they say 'if this is _________, then continue to listen to the rest of this message; if you are not, then do not listen to the rest of this message,' n then give the phone number. i don't have any outstanding debts, so i have no idea why they're calling me. n their call shows up 'unknown' on the id.

Multiple times a day every day/...'this call is only for Irinem (sounds like)...'if you are not Irinem do not listen to this call. If you continue to listen to this call you are acknowledging that you are said name.....'I've hung up every time for the last 2 weeks. Sick of the call, I listened and it claims to be a collection agency and gives 1-888-710-6818 as the number to call with regard to collections.I am now reporting to the phone company and to the FTC and to the BBB and to the Do Not Call List and if it continues, I will call the Police. Dawgone nuisance.

Ask for confirmation of the last 4 digits of my social secutiry number, when I refused they stated they couldn't discuss the 'important' information regarding the federal government. When I asked what portion of the federal government they worked for, or what this was pertaining to again, they gave no information and refused to give additional feedback and hung up. I called the number they had called me on to see what the company they worked for was informed it was 'General Federal' they id' my phone number and said they needed me to confirm my last 4 digits of my ss#. When I again refused, they said they would continue to call. I told them not to bother as I would not give personal information over the phone. They hung up!

they left a voice mail in my company's astersk voice mail system which then emailed me a .WAV file I listened to in my email program. It addressed me by name, which is very bizarre for spam. It also didn't sound like a computer generated voice.I've gotten one of these before where they left a message on my home machine 2-3 times per day for three solid weeks, and now this. This one claims to be from Branden at General Revenue Corp, for a debt owed to William Penn University. (??) Says to call 888-710-6818 x HJ9.I'm tempted to call just out of complete curiosity as to what their scam is. The notes I read about the last spamming I got sounded like everyone that tried to call them didn't even get an answer at the number. Makes me wonder if this is some kind of DDOS attempt on someone's phone number?

a lot of people thank me for my help... and some people hate me because they just want to argue. i do sleep well at night after telling my wife about the few stupid people i talk to through out the day. and i have never ruined anyone's life, they are doing a fine job of that themselves. a qualification of my job is superb customer service. i understand bad things happen to people with good intentions and try to advise them with what i see works. The people that work with me thank me in the end... thats why i'm satisfied when i go home at night.

I received a call this morning, asking who I was. I identified myself by name but they never did. The gentlemen was very prompt on asking my last 4 digits of my Social Security number, I told him I was not giving it cause they had not identified theirselves of whom they or why they were calling. The gentlemen got a little upset with me asking. When the gentlement kept insisiting on me to give him my Social Security Number. I told him I was not comfortable with this phone call and I hung up.

I have been receiving calls from this number recently, i am on the do not call list and have been for several months yet keep receiving these calls.they claim to be a debt collection company, I have no debts at all and the details were vague. I wish they would stop! Everytime I receive a call I get charged!

i make several calls to you kind of people every day. I must say this is some of the most ignorant statements i have ever herd. Ignoring calls won't make it stop. We don't always report to peoples credit. The vast majority of us will be happy to quit calling if we have the wrong # or help you dispute the charges if they aren't correct. you have a chance of keeping it off your credit by contacting us. why would you sit and watch your credit? really? by then its too late. its on your credit for 7 years. then you people call me mad because this account you don't feel you owe is on your credit. take some responsibility and talk to someone who can help. if you don't like the person who calls you ask for someone else

had a message to call these people. Called them and got 'general revenue collection' or GRC. Once I got a person on the phone they asked for my telephone number. After this they asked for my Social Security Number , so i promptly hung up on them.

One of GRC's MOs is to call friends or family of the alleged debtor. For example, I am receiving calls that claim that 'John Doe' (my friend who shared my number five years ago and who I have not seen in four years) listed me as a 'personal contact reference' and to call GRC back.
