its a scam

Told me to call a different number that they provided to discuss something wrong with my windows internet which I do not have

Just did a search through google for the number:Here's what showed: TDBank (888) 751-9000 214 Wilmington W Chester Pike Scranton, PA 18503

This is a legitimate TD Bank Customer service number - BUT BEWARE - it is being spoofed by some pretty shady criminals. They say they are TD - they reported some fraudulent activity etc, and then started asking for me to confirm my card number, my passcode, my online id etc. They are CRIMINALS! TD does not ask for any of this information - just got off the phone with them and confirmed the fraud. Next call FEDS.

Received call. Caller ID showed 888-751-9000. I answered phone with no response from caller. Some background noise.

I called TD and told them the call was from Total Systems Services. TD had never heard of them/

I checked with my local TDBank and this is a legitimate TDBank phone number.

So how did they scam you? What are the details and why did you post them for other people to learn from them?

SCAM!!!Its 100% a scam I talked to td bank north today... after I gave the guy that called me lip... and he returned with spanish then in english threatened to kill my family. I hung up and called back the number... and was connected to the real td bank north company who then told me to not give them any information... SCAM!!!@

Received two calls from this number.No ID. No message left.

Definitely fake, definitely scam. Not a real TD number. Just got scammed big time.

They called me today claiming to be TD bank to follow up on a “recent inquiry about a home lending program” to “discuss my options” .. it was a middle Eastern female’s voice. Seemed shady.

Yes it is a scam

Called my cell phone asking for me by name and saying they were from TD Bank. Told them I had never heard of them and they hung up.

I was asked to call this number by a Scam Artist who said I owed money from back in 2008. Which was an old account of mine so it was partially true. Called this number twice on two different days and it seemed like a fake setup. Voices on phonr sounded so phony and background noise was that of a car or noisy background UNlike what u would normally hear while speaking to a banking specialist. I was asked for my social security number the first time and I swas stupid enough to give it because the first time Ii called it I was convinced I was going to get in deep trouble if I didn't pay this debt. The date of these calls was 2/11/16 & 2/15/16 if that helps anyone. ALSO - did anyone else get a call or place a call to or from 888 499 5520 ?? Because these calls are linked and that 888 # is definitely a SCAM. these people need to be reported, stopped and arrested.
