Called me today - Said he was from BT and that he was a BT technician called John Smith - though he had a strong Asian Accent. Said that my bank account had been hacked and then that my internet had been hacked. I assume that they are making money out of he speaking to them - should have just put the phone down when I heard the computer generated call

just had two calls from indian speaking man asking me to switch internet on and off and sit in front off computer and do stuff ,total scam he wanted remote acsess to my computer then he can get all details off everything banking ect ......have to get up earlier to catch me out !!!!!!

BT Scam - Internet has been seriously compromised. There is no such thing. We are not with BT. Aggressive on the phone. Had 3 calls in 2 hours. This is a scam call. Be careful

Just received a call from this number. I realised it was a scam call and told him that perhaps his time might be better spent with a legitimate enterprise rather than scamming vulnerable people. It was met with a tirade of expletives. I think that says everything.

Received call today 22/03/19 from Indian lady Lily from 001950460719 said she was BT technician reporting my internet line compromised by someone in Manchester and line needed to be blocked and inviting me to do an immediate upgrade. Have I a laptop, PC, tablet or phone? Didn't like iPhone...but Samsung would have been ok, interestingly. I asked for a callback number, she said 02073565000The reviews in this site confirmed its a scam.

Called me about banking fraud 13 August 2019

Have received two calls from this tel no this morning saying there is a problem with my router,rang a BT tel no on my paperwork and they this is a scam.

Also received this scam call today, 23/8/17.Surely someone somewhere can track them down and stop this. It came up as unavailable on my screen.Knew it was a scam but a little old lady might not.

They call every day with some BT scamPlease take action and stop this number which is linked to a call centre sales team!

called today to tell me my internet is being compromised, ask him for his name Michael Orr from BT told him I will call him back and he hung up, be aware that this is a scam

A gentleman of Indian accent telling me he was from BT Openreach. I told him I was not with BT and all I got was silenced. His script obviously doesn't cater for that reply.

Kept phoning me today 6th July. I am convinced that it is a scam.

I was called twice today from this number, an Asian from ‘ Sky ‘ about my broadband. He wanted me to download an app called teamviewer quick support.I strung him along for a while then said I’d ring Sky to check and the things he called me were disgusting.His disappointment was palpable 😂

This no has called at least 5 times today claiming to be from the BT technical dept, saying I have downloaded a virus through my router. I beleive this to be a total scam, how do I stop them calling?

Been called from this number twice today saying they are from BT and someone else is using my internet. I am naturally suspicious so asked fr her number to call her back - the first time the woman hung up when I asked for her number. The second time the man gave me the number (which I have just googled to confirm it was a scam)

Called 2/7/20 at 2.25Asian male said he was calling from bt and someone was attacking my computer and I needed to open a window immediately. I refused and asked for number - was given this number which I then searched to discover unsurprisingly it was a scam.
