This number called me about 5 minutes ago. A female voice, either Caribbean or Asian, said there was a problem with my internet, that it had been hacked by unscrupulous people. I told her to go away and not call me again.

Phoned Friday last Asian voice said he was from BT and contacting me at request of Virgin Media who are my internet provider because my broadband was compromised. I was taken in for some time but eventually ended call and phoned Virgin who confirmed. It was a scam. He phoned the next day and I told him I had the police onto him. He rang off no further contact. Beware really quite genuine sounding.
