Scammers. They spoof HMRC phone number.

17/02/21 This number called me twice and I rung back and wasn't happy with the call so hung up and then they rung me back on a different number. I then said please write to me and immediately terminated the call.

I have just had a phone call from this number saying there going to but a warrant out for my arrest twice they called me saying I owe two half thousand pounds and can I make a payment of 500 and pay rest sulments

They call hmrc name is John smith and they gave Id no98560lrThen he said account wrong calculation in five years fine is £2450 pay imedealtey. Then i ask more question then different person talk to me name is Austin miller then he said you must pay otherwise go to prison I asked how to pay he send to me personal no 07893345208 then call this no then i stop the call

Yes, I got a call from this number, officer's name was Mike Forster I took his name and also the Batch number: 98560LR as he is saying and informed me that there going to but a warrant out for my arrest as they found a mistake on my tax return, at first they asked my home address, and informed that a letter was sent to me a lot of time about mistake and not paid taxes so no they will arrest me I can go to the court or I can resolve this case straight away by paying that amount in 45minutes.

Just paid via google pay to £650 to these people. So this was a scam!, yes or no.

I received a call from this number asking me to press one to go through to HMRC. I did but was cut off. A few minutes later another call came from same number and I was asked who files my tax return. I responded that I don't file any tax returns. The caller then said p*** off you mother f***er.

I got a call from this number from officer Sam Parker, batch no.98560LR and informed me there is a warrant for my arrest as they found a mistake on my tax return. He wanted me to pay hmrc cash??? I called HMRC back and they told me it's a scam! Didn't pay anything.

This number appears to have hacked into my phone my bill shows me phoning them at midnight night after nightnobody has access to my phone in the middle of the night - very worrying

I've just had the same scam phone call. I'm so stressed. I'm a disabled woman who has not commuted any fraud.
