Same as above telling me there was a warrent out for my arrest and they were HMRC and press 1 to speak with a nice person to empty my wallet, i dont think so. Why don't these scammers get taken down?

I had a call from this number and clearly a fraud. If you owe HMRC they will write to you. Secondly, if they don't issue arrest warrants the courts do that .. Please ignore these idiots

The new hmrc scam number is 0300 200 0233, hmrc, you have to pay 1900 and court and bla bla bla, asian accent

I have just been called by this number,demanding money from 2012.saying there was a warrant out for my arrest and I had to pay immediately as the police were looking for. The Indian man got really nasty when I refused to pay, it was a horrible experience, why can’t something be done about this!!?😡

They had all my detail is very easy to belt them but when they start asking for a partial payment immediately I know sth was wrong , Glad I did not pay anything, very tempted to repot it to the Police as well

I had a letter sent about overpaid tax and this number was on it, however, i tried to call it but it rang for a bit and then got dropped.

I had the same today. The scammers have faked the number as it is an HMRC number. I called HMRC from another phone and reported it.

Obviously a fraud but a genuine HMRC number. Called twice today from 441617685869 an automated voice telling me to phone 03002003310 as warrant out for my arrest. Could be very frightening for elderly/vulnerable people

Just had a phone call from this number with an automated voice saying there is a tax fraud case in my name and a warrant out for my arrest proper threw me. Then I remembered I'm not a Tory politician. Seriously though proper threw me.

I received a call accent was eastern Europe man was telling me he is from HMRC and investigating not paid 285 pounds in 2012 so I have to pay otherwise will deport me from UK or going to send police to arrest me , but impotent thing he got my correct NI number and date of birth already hung up .

I received a call from this number, just the same as all the others. I had an idea that it would be a scam and played along with them for a while. The 'OFFICER' was polite but barely audible due to a bad line and foreign accent. I lost patience after about 7 minutes and just said send your warrants at which point they hung up. I feel sure that had I continued with the call, they would have at some point given me the option to pay the £2600, dream on!!

IT IS A HMRC SCAM! it's linked with the number 03002043366, they said they have a warrant for my arrest if I didn't pay them today or hung up. when I hung up this number and the number I have put down here kept calling me back

I did not answer looked it up and so many people have been called saying that there from hmrc stating that. There's a investigation of fraud thankfully I never answered it
