I am an OAP and thought I was going in a comp with Asda. After following details as told, I received a message saying £4.50 or week will be charged. I cannot afford this, how do you stop it. Is this fraud?..

They put a link on Facebook which says you will get a free lidls voucher. Comments confirmed that this was the case. When I completed the form, I got a txt saying they were charging £4.50 a week for this! I don't know how to,stop it.

I was advised i would get a refund if i entered the url address guven to me over the phone ! Were is the redund form ?

Replied to ad from what appeared to be lidl, only after replying to text was I informed I would be charged £4.50 a week. None of their text numbers will accept stop.

These people have been charging us under the radar for months - only just realised. Everything everyone else has said before is all true. We blocked the number and they still took the money from our service provider - £22.50 per month . These people can only be described as criminal- the website for the application for a refund does not exist.

Xwin phone scam. Taking money from phone credit each week. How can it be stopped?

Fell for a competition scam. Clicking on a link in a reputable app. Win a free Samsung. After entering was asked for mobile number. Then got text to say I would be charged £4.50 a week, as well ASA couple of other texts. The offending text no. is 88227. Each time they send one it costs you £4.50. Vodafone have now blocked incoming premium texts, so hopefully the end of it, but how to stop them?

This scam has cost me over £30 .text stop 3 times received text from them say that it was cancelled 3hours later l lost £4.50' next day the same thing happened£4.50 gone within 24hours of topping up £10.00 , £9.00has been taken illegally tried to get refund site ,unable to find it my phone is from tesco

This number 88227 is a scam. I have been conned out of £100 through my phone provider, when I was first aware I was being charged for them sending me texted messages, I unsubscribed which I was also charged for, I still repeatedly received messages so I blocked this number however they have started texting through alternative mobile numbers.

Same thing just happened to me. Texted stop also called their number to check that they stopped the charges. Unfortunately the initial charge of £4.50 has already gone through, so after arguing with the guy on the phone he gave me their refund website.
