This number has telephoned me several times in the last few days trying to tell me I have a problem with my bank account and asking for bank details. It's a scam.

Husband received call this afternoon to say his credit card was fraudulent used I googled this number and we were right it is a scam

My mum received two calls from this number today saying fraudulent activity had happened on her Lloyd’s account. Luckily I googled it and saw the other comments!

Scam, said it was from Halifax Building Society and someone has used cards which don’t have

Called once and I hung up as soon as I heard it was a recorded message. Called again and left a message - they claimed to be calling on behalf of Lloyd's credit card fraud prevention. I have no Lloyd's account or cards. The name they said they were called wasn't mine. Fraud.

what on earth are you lot talking about...I rang Lloyds from the number on my Card and they verified the call from that number as being from them.

I've just received a call from this number, saying my Halifax card had been used unexpectedly, I haven't used it but did call the Halifax today, asking to activate my online account! Quite a coincidence that I got this call on the same day! If it's a scam, is it someone from Halifax? I did call the number, I was put on hold, put the phone down after a few minutes, didn't seem right!

Keep getting a call from this number saying I my Lloyd’s credit card is being used fraudulently. I don’t even have a Lloyd’s credit card so it’s defo a scam

Constantly calling to say they are Halifax fraud team, and that my fathers credit card has been been fraudulently used. My father rang Halifax and they said it hadn't. Many people would believe this, and leave themselves wide open to all kinds of identity and monetary theft. Something needs to be done asap!!!!

On answering you get voice message stating from Lloyds Bank. Wanting you to enter a three number code. Does sound legitimate, therefore some people may fall into their trap. Clearly just to obtain personal bank details !

Further inquiries, they have passed me through to a different dept. Every dept outside of the fraud dept flags this number up as fraud as they don;t have it onb their phone list. BUT the actual fraud dept of Lloyds says this number is GENUINE. They use a third party company to contact you and that's why Lloyds, Halifax etc do not have the phone number in their database

Working from home, received several calls from this number, fortunately I don't usually answer daytime calls; clearly persistent!

They phoned today saying that they were from Halifax credit card.

Called to today to say they were from Lloyds and my credit card were being fraudulently used

Anyone who says this number is genuine is a liar or been tricked. I have been talking to my bank, this number is CRIMINAL FRAUD do not respond report it to your bank

I have automatic voice recording call from this number Saying transfer has been made from your Lloyd acccount, we are calling from Fraud department please press 1 for this 2 for that. I cut the phone and goggle the number to see where I got called from and yes it was recorded as Fraud number.
