I am trying to use a number given to me by a reputable person in the Chase Bank I Newnan , Georgia ! I assumed it was legitimate but it seems unlikely since it has not responded as a real person nor does it seems to think I am legitimate . Please contact me if possible so I can get some more information for me . Thank you ,

Called but left no message (a 800 number looks legit, but I don't answer unknown numbers regardless - if it really was from 'Chase Bank', then it was SAY 'Chase Bank' - sign that it's been SPOOFED). If it was truly important or urgent, then they would leave a message - a test of whether a caller is directly trying to reach YOU. Judging from the research of this number: SPAM! DO NOT ANSWER!

Called while I wasn't home. DIdn't leave a message when the answering machine picked up. Suspected spam because it actually came up with a '11-' prefix before the area code, suggesting it was coming from overseas. Not surprised to see reports of it being what sounds like a credit card scam.

This # is on the back of the Chase credit card that is still a current card. The call has commercial after commercial, non stop action of fraud. Why would chase put this # on their card?

Third time I receive this number calling my office number. When I say hello, the call disconnects.

Robocaller said to call return number 646-948-8677 if I did not want to be charged $399 from V Tech Solution. Then said name of manager is Daniel Weber.

received call once a week for 3 weeks now. No one on the line when answered.

This number was printed on the back of old Chase Freedom credit card. However, if you call them, they are not Chase Freedom any more. Did Chase sell the number for profit? IDK but at least the answer was just one ad after another. Spoofing for sure!

Number showed up on my phone list. I don't recognize it. 1800-524-3380. Please report this fraud. I'm now sending this to the Atty. Gen.

Clarification:The number 800-524-3880 is the verified number for Chase Freedom Credit Card. The same number is located on the back of that card.WARNING: Incoming calls can be 'spoofed' imitated to appear as the number of the Chase Freedom Card 800-524-3880 and any other number including your own phone number. Never assume a caller's identity by their caller I.D.

Debt reduction scam

Rec'd call about 9 a.m. 2/14. I didn't answer and no message left on answering machine. This is the bank's actual number as I called back and got the usual answering system. When finally got to a human being, he confirmed their number had been spoofed. CID showed phone # and 'ChaseFreedom.'

Claimed to Chase Freedom cards but called at 615am. Legit businesses know that 8a-8p are standard times for calling. Legally, they are not to call before that for telemarketing

How can I redem my points. Can I take it off my bill.

Claimed to be Bank of America. We don't do business with BofA. I recognized the number as a Chase bank number.
