Had an email that said I had sent a gift card from my PayPal to someone I did not know. It was from chewy.com and I never placed the order. When I clicked on “If you did not place this order, click here” a spam warning appeared. I deleted the email.

This is a valid company (Chewy.com) but someone got my CC and did a trial use. Fortunately, the company *did* call me about the shipping address not matching the billing address so I was able to call them back, cancel the shipping and the account that was set up, and notify my CC holder for fraud.So, if you DO get a call from Chewy.com, call them back and find out what CC was compromised.

I had a charge for $105.69 from CHEWY.COM 800-672-4399. I have never ordered from them. When I called the number. They said they could not help me because I had no order number. I had to call my credit card company to file a fraudulent charge claim, and they have to send me a new card.

Yes, same happened to me today. Did you ever called to find out what happened?

I had a deposit from Chewy.com of $11.46 go into my account and then a withdraw for the same amount, I've never used this company. Very suspicious activity. The number listed in my checking account was 800-672-4399 in Florida.

Your phone number is connected to a Chewy.com account. I would contact them and remove your number from their system!

Wardog61 and Kiki, please be sure to contact your bank or CC company to be sure your accounts were not compromised. Placing a small charge on a card is a way for the company to test the validity of the card. Unfortunately, it's also a way for scammers to test the card. Stay safe. Check those cards.

Recieved calls and I blocked them. They then changed the last few numbers.

I don't know who this is. They left message on my phone, and wanted me to call them back to update my account so they could send out my order. I did not order anything. I deleted their voicemail from my phone.

If you know who it is, why are you here? So what if it was legit for you? Doesn't mean scammers won't or aren't spoofing it

I have call blocker on my phone and the name with the number 1 800 672 4399 was coming from a place called five point correctional facility in New York
