Keep getting the same messages as anonymous. Initial call goes straight to voicemail so I couldn't block the calling number. Thank you for providing it. I confirmed with Scotiabank they never called me.

This is a scam number you are given to call by supposed Scotiabank automated caller. The actual number that called has been flagged as a scammed number, 1844-320-6431. Spoofed numbers, don’t believe them. Call went straight to my voicemail but it is worrying how they got my name. 😡

I got this call this morning identifying themselves as Scotia Bank and asked for my date of birth.

They just called me with my name saying they are calling regarding a personal banking matter. They left a message saying to call them back at a non-scotiabank 1-855 number. I knew it was fake when the message started with a weird 'breaking news' jingle. Troubling how they knew my name though. Obviously a data breach of Scotiabank client info.
