The message said this is Kila from processing. Some kind of hardship relief. It seems like a scam in my opinion. I'm not sure however.

I just received a near identical message - only difference is they changed “hardship” program out and called it the “ Advantage program”.... Now they just called from a different number 877472XXXX and says the exact same message. But this time her name is XXXX and loan application approval amount is 40k. They are good!!!! So sad and messed up though :(

What gets me is they called me twice both messages say the not word um and almost everyone has reported this as well I find it odd actually.

Problem with their logic: I just PAID OFF all my credit cards, Paid off my defaulted student loan and I'm going to be working on my covid forbearanced student loans now. Can't scam someone who is working with their actual loan companies to settle debts. Check your bank statement and credit reports. They may have their 'feelers' in other accounts

Not as bad as some of the other scams out there but still a scam

I have a question. Everyone shared their experience, And they are all the same. But, No one else mentioned this: My cellphone never rang. Just the notification that I had a voicemail. Therefore, They left a voicemail without actually calling me. Also, The number on the caller id didn’t match the number Ashley left. That is to be expected. It’s a toll free number. The call originated from Valdosta, Georgia.

Received a voicemail on Friday, August 21, 2020 about a hardship program I never applied for from ph# 1-248-218-1085 stating I was approved for $40, 000. I knew this was a scam because she never addressed me by my name when she left me a voicemail. Also, After googling 'the hardship program' I found out other people are receiving these voicemails from ph# 1-877-224-0244.
