Called and left a message that there attempting to collect a debt. I don't have any that I'm aware of. This must be a scam. This is one of my business numbers. They need to stop, I don't have time for games.

Said I owed 81.32 for a text book rental from 2014. Bogus.

I just got the same call, from the same 'Nicole' not even 5 minutes ago. Such a scam!!

I got a call and my phone didn't even ring, but it showed I had a voice mail. They did not address me and the woman called herself Nicole, and vaguely mentioned I owed something for a textbook rental and told me to go to www.paymybook.com. I went to the website and put in my last name and phone number and then it said there wasn't any information. The call came from 702-829-3550, but she told me to call back at 888-808-9004.

Called my brother at work with message for me saying that I owed payment for my college rental textbook that was overdue. I owe no money, no books. I called them back and asked numerous questions about how they got my information and how the mixup happened (I assumed it was a scam) the rep sat in silence and stuttered baloney answers, telling me he would email me an affadavit for me to get notorized, to send in and clear my account. He eventually hung up on me.

Robocall from FEDChex recovery. I called back and asked for my number to be removed. They asked if my name was 'So and So,' a name which I believe was the person to previously have my phone number. I told them that wasn't my name, and they said they would remove my number from the list. It was a very short call, and I do believe they are an actual debt collector just with old/incorrect contact info.

Received a voice mail from this number, telling me it was a debt collector. They asked me to call back or visit www.payyourclaim.com , the website obviously does not exist. I don't understand what was the purpose of the call...

My iphone registered Scam Likely- they called 4 times back to back and each call was declined. They said they were calling about a text book rental and I could pay for it on paymybook.com. I have not rented text books in over 5 years and each was returned.

Have frequently received voicemails regarding debt that I do not have. Only once have I had a missed call from this number.

I keep receiving random voice mails from this phone number saying I owe an unpaid debt and to either call the number back or go to a website. My phone never rings, I just magically have a voice mail from this phone number. Definitely a scam!!

This number, 8888089004 left a recording message saying they want to collect a debt. They didn't say my name or what the debt was for and didn't even say how much it was for.

Received a voice mail, it said it was from Federal Check's Recovery and it was a debt collector. It said to call 888-808-9004 back, I called it back and it said the call could not be completed at that time.

This is nothing a cease and desist calling or 'not me' letter sent by certified, return receipt mail would not cure. Should not be able to bypass the phone call and go directly to voicemail. Leaves a very generic message about paying back the so-called debt. There is no debt and these calls should be stopped immediately.

I’ve been getting these calls (never answer, only relying on voicemails) for MONTHS. Different numbers coming from different areas of the US, always with this samecallback number & paymybooks.com. Total scam—avoid!!!

My son received a phone call from a woman named Nicole from Fed checks recovery regarding your textbook rental. She said to give her a call back at 888-808-9004 or to go to www.paymybook.com and make a payment. She claimed to be a debt collector. This is a scam!! She called from 702-829-3550. Call you students college bookstore to find out the true information.

Someone from Sanchez recovery...msg to call back same number....rings back to call center. No idea who or why.
