I also saw this ad in the Windsor Star just a couple of days ago. But I done some research & saw that it was posted in the Toronto Post for at least a month before our paper received it.Was also wondering if this was a con?

Seen an advertisement in The Era (Newmarkets local newspaper) saying that if you have any of the above health conditions that you may be entitled for up to $50 000 from the government of Canada all ages and Medical Conditions qualify. Then it says call Ontario Benefits at 1-800-211-3550. It's a bunch of cr*p to me.

Oshawa times has had this ad in their paper for months. Why do papers advertise ads that are fraud. We have enough with BS in the world ,please stop this from appearing. Many seniors have trouble knowing what is true or false. They are the ones who would think this might be true. STOP THEM PLEASE.

I noticed the ad in our local paper. It looks like it was published in all the small newspapers in Alberta. I didn't call the number but by the wording of the ad and by looking at the comments that have been left about this number it's unfortunate that newspapers are printing this advertisement.

I did some research because I'm curious as I happened to notice this while reading a local paper and it certainly looks like fraud as the number 613-800-6113 and the number 1-800-211-3550 are not government numbers. The first one belongs to a company called Iristel Inc. At best I suspect they're collecting private information and selling it on to ad companies, at worst it could be forwarded to actual criminals.

now we got it in the local paper laval news.Quebec 50 000 in benefits. Called the number 1-800-211-3550 there is only on hold music playing.Definetely not real. I emailed the editor of the newspaper.

Saw the ad in our weekly local southern Manitoba newspaper ‘The Voice’, under the heading ‘Health’. I googled the number and was lead to this website. Glad I searched before calling.

Got the same thing in Gatineau, Québec, all fraud.
