Claims to be Wells Fargo calling our work place from their 'Fraud Department' directs you to call this number for customer service, when pressing '0', call is immediately intercepted with 'You have won a cruise to the bahamas!'

We rec'd a call who said there was a charge today denied at a fast food restaurant and to call the 800 number above. We checked here first since we saw that 800 number is not one listed on Wells Fargo's website.

Said they are Wells Fargo calling concerning fraudulent activity on my credit card - I looked and there is no activity on my card so I called the 800 number above they said to call & recording stating I have won a free cruise immediately intercepted

This was really Wells Fargo, at least in my case. Someone had attempted to make an unauthorized charge to my account. I did not trust the number, so I hung up and called Wells Fargo directly (the number on the back of my AmEx) and they confirmed that someone had tried to make an unauthorized purchase with my card and they were calling to see if it was me.

They claim they are with Wells Fargo fraud dept. DO NOT give your credit card info to these people!!! Call the number on the back of your card to verify.
